I give this one star solely on the management
My server Le'Niece was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, courteous, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Shocking considering that she had opened at 5 am, served me around noon with an amazing attitude, and was working a double shift ending at 11 pm.
My issue started when I ordered the Big Brunch Ultimate Steakburger. I preferred my burger to be cooked medium. Le'Niece kindly informed that due to manager policy that the burgers could only be cooked well done. I requested the manager on duty's presence.
The manager on duty came and I informed her that I would like my burger cooked medium, to which she responded, 'Are you sure?' multiple times. Then proceeded to inform me that the well-done policy was to prevent an e-coli bacterial outbreak. As someone who managed a restaurant and is ServSafe certified that presented an immediate red flag that the food is probably stored improperly.
After multiple inquisitions of my request the manager on duty said she would inform the cooks to cook it medium. After waiting about 10 min, the food arrived and guess how my burger was cooked?
Well-done
To the cooks credit the burger was actually pretty good, just wasn't cooked to my request.
The MoD turned the corner and I showed her the burger, which I have attached, and she said it was cooked Medium-Well. She then asked if I would like her to personally recook the burger, which I did not want to personally wait for. Her next responses were uncourteous to say the least, so much so that the family sitting across from me noted that the MoD needed to watch her tone.
As I finished my meal, I requested the MoD presence again to ask how my bill would be compensated for the inconveniences. To which she provided a litany of excuses. Most interesting being that the 'Ultimate Steakburger' Patty was 'too thin' to cook Medium....Ironic.
After finally being comped for the inconveniences, the MoD finally handed me my ticket. To my displeasure, instead of my waitress, Judy L was on the top of the ticket. Meaning that she rung the ticket under her name, rather than checking out her employee.
So Judy, who never introduced herself, is not only full of excuses, she is also a thief.
If you eat at this establishment would 100% recommend asking for Le'Niece to be your server. If you need manager assistance, I would recommend leaving the...
Read moreMy fiancé and I had attended The Night Ranger concert on Friday December 6th at River City Casino. Going to leave them a positive review after this one. We showed up around 11:45 P.M. went in, and was seated fairly quickly at a table booth which was accommodated. Part of the 2 stars is atmosphere. So because it waa 3/4 empty which allowed us to choose our seat, was the best part of the dining experience. The waitress seating us got our drink orders and went to fill them, then it went down hill. She came back with a brand new trainee, that was to be shadowing and working the table as part of training. So we said hello and my better half began to order. We're both 44 years old and raised with manners and, learned patience with our own kids. So it takes her a little bit to find each item on the electronic order device, no big deal. They go and put our order in. Then we don't see either one until our food comes out. The original seasoned server doesn't come back for the remainder of the experience. Which is a problem for me if she's shadowing then be present so you can correct, answer questions, and prevent the service from being non existent as we had the privilege enduring. So the new shadowing server brings my food gives to my lady, brings me hers, so we swap and by the time we settle, shes gone. I like hot sauce or Tabasco on my eggs, I didn't have the opportunity, even though I waited and ate those last, because she didn't return until I was done eating. The food not good. I ordered over medium eggs, the whites where runny, which is why I order over medium. The hash browns where chewy like they where stale, 1 piece of French toast supposed to be 2, That's my food. The misses got chicken and waffles, waffles tasted ok but cold and soggy, brought only original syrup no options, the chicken was cold and tasted of old grease. Finally the server returns with her hot chocolate after we're done, and ready to pay the bill. After eating the 2 bites of hash browns and eggs my stomach started cramping. So we paid $71 for minimum service, food that was clearly microwaved with a dash of food poisoning, coffee and water. Will not return, hope I save you the misery and your hard...

Update 12/15/2020: I ordered the Cinn-a-Stack Pancakes for my Free Birthday Full Stack. They were pretty solid. While they were certainly not the best cinnamon roll pancakes that I have ever eaten, they were warm and had good flavor. IHOP pancakes overall seem to be drier and less gooey/soft than other pancake places that I have had. The cinnamon roll filling certainly helped with texture. I will say that the cream cheese icing is fantastic. I just had Crumbl Cookies, where the cream cheese icing was literal cream cheese with zero sweetness. This cream cheese icing had a ton of sweetness! Yum!
As you all know, I am St. Louis's (self-proclaimed) preeminent pancake foodies and pancake reviewer.
This was my second time eating at this IHOP location. I was nearby getting my haircut at Great Clips, and I figured that I would order a late dinner on the app and pickup inside the restaurant. This was a wise decision. The service was very quick, and the waitress who brought me my order was polite and nice.
I decided to order the Pumpkin Spice Pancakes because they are on the seasonal menu, and they were solid during my first visit here. This was my second wise decision of the evening. They were very warm when I got them, and they really blew the first attempt out of the water. The texture was perfect, and the pumpkin spice flavor was fantastic. The pancakes were moist and not dried out, and they were easy to cut through. My third wise decision was eating them immediately in my car. I was very pleased with my second trip to this IHOP. See...
