We worked with Chris, one of the owners. First of all, they are extremely knowledgeable in product. They were so helpful helping us decide which brand to get and didn't oversell expensive brands or variations like many other places we encountered - they just simply educated us and told us to make our decision from there: this was so appreciate.

Where they really shined was delivery and customer satisfaction. My fridge was delivered on a Saturday and they were extremely flexible with my crazy schedule. Unfortunately, once they left we were unable to get my fridge into the kitchen due to size (the delivery guy had told us how to get it in and we thought we would be able to so we let that be). The next day, we called and explained the situation and chris promised they would make it right. This to me is where it is 100% WORTH USING MOM AND POP SHOPS over HOME DEPOT or LOWES even if they can't beat the pricing- hd or lowes would have said "sorry, it's too late we already delivered". Chris and Clark with deliveries team coordinated during the week and were able to get someone out the following Saturday to take care of us because we had another time sensitive project going on. The accommodation was so appreciated and quite frankly the best customer service I could expect. This is the type of customer service that keeps people coming back. We own multiple properties in Stamford and plan to use them for any appliance replacements we have in the future.

This past week was our first experience shopping and purchasing at Planet TV and Appliances (High Ridge Rd. Stamford) We needed to update our old appliances and was shopping for a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Shopped around at all different stores and after speaking with Chris at Planet TV we felt comfortable to give them a try for the first time. Very nice show room with a variety of choices with all different price ranges to fit your budget. Everything at Planet TV from start to finish was extremely Professional, well done above and beyond expectations. If you needed Chris he would answer the phone, delivery, installation date and time was as promised. The appliance delivery/ installation crew were very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Unforeseen issue was our stove was hardwired in but needed a outlet for the new stove, on the spot with a truck loaded for other delivery's they took the extra time and installed the needed outlet so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. All of the crew cleaned up everything, cautiously covered the floor to prevent scratches, leveled the stove, even set the clock without asking. You never know what your going to get once you make the purchase in a store and hope for the best, fortunately for us "We Got The Best!!" My old window unit in my apartment broke down a few months ago and I called Planet TV to help me with a new one. I know absolutely nothing about air conditioning units and definitely needed a lot of hand holding through the whole process. Rob immediately offered to come by, check out the existing unit and take some measurements for me. When he came by and took the measurements he checked out the unit and informed me that Friedrich still makes the same unit in the exact same size. I loved my old Friedrich so I was glad that he was able to find the updated version of the unit for me! Since the unit was the same size, Rob told me it would be able to fit in the existing sleeve. Once the unit was installed, I realized that there was a lot of vibrations. I initially put it aside and just thought the new unit was louder than the original but low and behold, Rob called me a few days later to check in. I’m so glad he did because once I told him that I was surprised it was so loud he knew that the sleeve had to be replaced and had his service technician call me right away to schedule an appointment. The service tech was able to work with my schedule and came to my rescue! Now my unit works great! Their service is impeccable and they made the whole process a breeze!
