High Ridge Fish Market is amazing. I've lived around the world and this cozy family run business takes it up there with some of the best fish markets in even the most prestigious cities. The family that runs this market is lovely! You can tell they really care, from the quality of their goods strait through to how friendly and helpful they are. Any fish I get from them is always impeccably fresh, the sushi they make is from unequaled quality and perfected recipes. There cooked food and rice bowls are delicious and fairly priced, as with everything. So I walked in a few weeks back and was disappointed that they had not yet started frying fish. The owner was great and said it would be as soon as he could hire help. So I’m back again today after getting my hair cut at Bella Salon right next door. Guess what? Fryer turned on today! Well let me tell you that it was worth the wait. Super light batter, crunchy, hot, juicy, flaky cod is a just awesome! The chips were not what I was expecting but again fantastic. The menu will increase with time because ultimately I want a fish sandwich not really a full blown fish and chips for lunch but so happy this place is starting to get its grove on! ...

The freshest fish you will find anywhere, and for those of us who are vegan/vegetarian, freshly prepared sushi, dumplings, pickled radish and other delicious offerings as well! Shelves and refrigerator are conveniently stocked with a very good selection of grocery items and produce to accompany and round out your meal prep.
