I had a great experience with NAGI Jewelers who made my engagement and wedding rings. We worked with Jeff, who was friendly, informative, and quick to respond to any emailed questions. My husband picked NAGI Jewelers without researching because it was a convenient location, but they ended up doing such a great job with our custom pieces. They designed a beautiful engagement ring using a new central diamond framed by two smaller diamonds from my the mother-in-law’s engagement ring, with a rose gold tapered band. I was so delighted they were able to use diamonds that were not their own to make such a meaningful and stunning ring. Upon receiving it, I was immediately stunned by its beauty and taken aback by the personal touch. It was the perfect addition to a perfect engagement to a perfect husband! My husband chose a ring size that was a little too large, so we went to have it resized a couple weeks after the engagement. They took the ring and we went out to lunch down the street and they were done before we even finished! It was so nice to not have to be without it for long while they were resizing it. When we were ready to purchase our wedding bands, we of course went back to NAGI Jewelers. My husband picked a beautiful band from the example bands in store. It was a white gold band with rose gold edging to match my rings. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted my own band to look like that was not available to try on in store, so I provided them with pictures, a sketch, and details of exactly what I wanted my band to look like. They got to work and make computer generated images to give me an idea of what the band would look like together with my engagement ring. They were going to make a plastic version of the ring to try on, but there was a miscommunication and this step was skipped. They assured me that they could still make any changes if I did not like the final product, but that was not at all necessary! The finished ring design was flawless and fit seamlessly with my engagement band. When my husband got his ring back (which was made in Germany) we realized that the engraving of our initials and date on the inside looked slightly different. It was very important to me that they look exactly the same, so after reaching out to Jeff he immediately had the ring re-engraved so that they matched perfectly. I've taken three watches to this store to be repaired, a Breitling Aerospace which needed a battery replaced, a Tag Heuer chronograph which needed a complete service and an Omega Railmaster which also needed a complete service. Breitling and Tag are brands they sell, they do not sell Omega. The Breitling they did a good job (afaik) changing the battery, replacing seals and pressure testing it. The Tag, which they serviced, then returned to me stopped working completely a day after I picked it up from them. I took it back and was told it had become "magnetized" and they would de-magnetize it for me. It did begin to work again but the hacking feature now doesn't work and they don't seem to be able to either understand or fix it.

My Omega they sent to the manufacturer for servicing as they aren't able to service this brand in-house. When it was returned to me it was keeping very poor time (gaining 20 seconds per day) for a COSC certified chronometer (COSC parameters are within -4 to +6 seconds per day). I explained this when I brought it back, they talked briefly about magnetizing again but I insisted they send it back to Omega (I paid almost $700 for the original service) which they did.

My Omega was returned last week, now it gains 14 seconds per day, which is better but not acceptable. Their watchmaker put it on his timing machine and said it was "within Omega specification" which is untrue.

While the young lady who deals with repairs is very pleasant to deal with one of the male employees made a snide remark about me within earshot. If the employees don't wish to be bothered by customers asking for work to be done correctly they should perhaps find another line of work.

In short, Nagi can probably competently change a watch battery but I would advise, based on my experiences, not to bring a mechanical watch to them for repair or adjustment as that is beyond...

Liz was absolutely attentive to listening to my wishes for the type, size and setting for the ring

My less than stellar planning for the timeline for selection , sizing and fabrication was not an issue for Liz. She asked me to give her a few days to come up with a solution

I was floored when she asked me to stop by and look at the results. Her presentation to me was exactly what I wanted and said it would be sized in time for a last minute vacation to the place where I planned to propose

Sure enough even in the midst of preparing to depart on her own vacation, Liz unveiled the perfect ring and even gave me a suede pouch so that I could carry the ring through TSA security without Mary knowing

The magic moment was more than I could have imagined. And the happiness and tears more spoke volumes with any other words

I also want to mention that even though I walked in the first day in less than pristine clothing because of work, I was greeted by the security person with courtesy and understanding due to my after work appearance

I felt safe, secure and welcomed by the gentleman keeping all the customers safe in these store.
