My daughter and I came in today (9/1/25) for a āmommy daughter dayā. It is her 4th birthday and she was so excited to get her nails done for the first time. We were greeted and I told them we had a reservation for 12, but it didnāt matter the technician (I know holidays can be extra busy). They told us to wait and someone would be with us. The lady who took us to seat 2 to get my full set done seemed annoyed and like they were just trying to get me done and over with to get to the next person. I asked for rounded square nails, I have a habit of scratching people on accident or poking myself in the eye) and she gave me rounded square, but they are so boxy and uneven. I didnāt feel like I could tell her I wanted them shaped better because she had a no care attitude.
When it was time for our pedicures they put us in seats together and then rushed me into mine. I asked for the deluxe pedicure and I think it took 20 maybe 30 minutes in total from start to finish. They told me it would be $20 extra to have gel on my toes, that felt too expensive for me so I told them my daughter and I would just use the same regular polish. Then because I said no they tried to tell me I should get gel for my daughter so it will last longer, but sheās 4 and if Iām not spending $20 on myself Iām not doing it for my 4 year old. The two girls doing both our pedicures kept talking about my daughter and Iās shirts like they thought it was tacky or something but they kept mentioning and laughing at āmamacornā (my daughter had one similar because her birthday is unicorn themed). I felt like because I said no to gel polish that my daughter and I didnāt get good care. Everyone was more concerned about getting people in and out than providing quality service. Also not to mention my daughter had 2 nails messed up before we even left the salon. We are so disappointed and I know Iām gonna have to go somewhere else and pay more money because the staff was careless and greedy. Highly disappointed and wonāt ever return. Wish I could get some of the $170 that I spent back to at least let my daughter have a good experience.
(I have pictures and would post them but canāt...

I am a long haul truck driver and I've gotten my nails done all over beautiful country but never have I ever been discriminated against because of my size. First I get to nail shop and they tell I have to wait a hour and a half to see because they are short staffed. Cool no problem. I just delivered a load I have nothing but time on my hands. I go back after waiting the allotted time, and was handed a weight disclaimer. Again fine being that I don't weight 350 pounds. Then they move the chair from where and I am about to get a full set and the woman brings a chair from the front of for me to sit in. Ok cool maybe they're taking extra precaution because of my size. Whatever. So the lady starts to do my full set and says, " oh I'm sorry we couldn't do your pedicure today." I said excuse me what? I didn't know person(trying to be respectful because I didn't know the person at the first chair sex) told her not to do my feet because of my weight. The lady on my nails and said person was going back and forth in their native tongue(Vietnamese a language I speak) about how I was about to get all kinds of designs and gel polish, blah, blah, blah. Then he tells her she can do my feet. She tells me the price and I'm like cool now continue to take these nails off my Uber is almost here.
Whoever that person is whether it's the owner or the best nail tech, needs sensitivity training. Luckily I have thick skin(no pun intended š ) and left out with my dignity. A customer came out after she was serviced to ask if I was ok. I was like yeah. Even if they person had refused my service, they have that right. At this point I'm more pissed at my time being wasted being I waited so long to be serviced and I could've just went to another nail shop. Like gahlee I had just worked and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey deleted my first review so I need to add it again. Iām not someone who leaves bad reviews, and I truly hate impacting anyoneās businessābut I canāt stay quiet about our experience. My mom, three sisters, and I came in excited for a fun, relaxing appointment together. Weāre super easygoing and rarely complain, but this visit left us frustrated and disappointed.
My gel polish peeled up as soon as I got home, and looked thick in some areas and thin in others. These are the only pictures I have saved to my phone, the peeling gel pictures were in the last review that got taken down.
My mom asked for hot pink SNS after seeing it on display. First, they told her they didnāt have it. Then they changed their story and said she could get it, but only if she paid for gel on top of the SNSāsomething she didnāt want to do. She settled and asked for black⦠but the final result was purple.
My sister asked for white gel polish on her toes. It came out a weird yellowish-grey. She politely tried to speak up, but the nail tech had an earbud in and was scrolling on TikTok while painting at the same time. When I waved to get her attention and asked her to fix the color, she got annoyed. She changed it, but didnāt put a clear top coat on.
Another sister came for a special engagement appointmentāshe asked for a clean French tip. She came in with black polish, which they didnāt remove properly. Now she has chipped black polish trapped under her clear French tips. On top of that, after using the cuticle cutter on me, the tech just slapped a cover over itāno cleaning. Totally unsanitary.
We were all so excited to treat ourselves, but this whole experience felt rushed, careless, and honestly, disrespectful. We wonāt...
