I have NEVER experienced WORSE customer service in my life. If you have grandparents, any elder family members or ones close to you check behind them when it comes to purchases like this or go with them if you can. I actually went with her to pick this furniture out and I went to pick it up and this still happened. My 80 year old grandmother bought a couch and recliner from Quality Home Furnishings. We went to pick it up for her this morning. I had the receipt which contains both item numbers, payment method and date of purchase. The recliner was not even the one she bought and when my grandmother called they told her to bring it back and they would give her $10 for gas as well as the recliner she had originally paid for. Donât forget sheâs 80 years old and canât just pick up a recliner. We put the recliner back in the box as it came in 2 pieces inside a sealed box. We took the couch off of the trailer and took what plastic was left off so we could carry it in her house. As I took the plastic off (the couch cushions were held in place by the plastic) we noticed the wood was showing on the bottom where the fabric was torn and a huge rip behind the cushion. Once again, we called to let them know we were also bringing back the couch. I was told they would not take the couch back because of a warranty? I was told several times it wasnât like that when we picked it up (insinuating we tore the couch up) I was even hung up on after I asked how could she know that since the rip was BEHIND the cushion that was held in place by plastic?? I understand things happen but this is absolutely unacceptable to be treated this way after making a purchase...
   Read moreI recently purchased an Ashley Furniture Realyn dining server from Quality Home Furnishings. After researching this item at multiple furniture stores, we discovered that QHF had the best price, by far, of any retailer (including Amazon). I completed the transaction through text, which was a new experience for me, and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the entire process. Everyone who helped me from the time I bought the item to when it was time to pick-up the furniture piece was so helpful, patient, and professional. They even went the extra step to ensure that the dining server did not appear damaged prior to contacting me that it was available for pickup. Overall, I was very impressed by the entire experience. I am saddened to learn that this business will likely be closing due to the upcoming demolition of Newtowne Plaza. I am hopeful that this business can possibly relocate to another building in Statesville because they are a great asset to this community! Owners advertised a sofa set on FB marketplace under the owners name, not their store. Purchased a sofa set and asked questions via marketplace. NEVER once did owner say there is a no return policy. Bought the set, never received an invoice with this policy until after they processed my payment. I have proof via my screenshots. I went to see the set and it wasnât even the one pictured! Bait and switch.Their solution to their blatant misrepresentation was to try to extort more money out of me, to the tune of an additional $170 Plus they immediately removed their FB listing so I could not rate them on this platform.
