Very poor customer service and food safety practices at this Subway. The bread was very undercooked on the bottom. Instead of immediately offering to make a new sandwich, the employee said nothing to me, went to the back and rummaged through two drawers to finally find a thermometer at the back, wiped it off on a napkin, stuck it in the bread, and said "your bread is cooked." When I asked if she was going to make another sandwich she repeated that the bread was cooked. I asked for my money back and she was rude to me about that as well before finally giving it back. The bread was not cooked properly. They are supposed to take temps at least four times a day so she should not have to search for a thermometer at the back of a drawer in a zipped pouch if they are doing what they are supposed to do for food safety. I'm leaving out several other rude things for brevity here but I gave a detailed report of my experience to the Subway corporate customer service rep and they gave my number to the "manager" at the local store. I received a phone call back from the very same employee who had been so rude to me and the first thing out of her mouth was "I wasn't...
Read moreWell worth driving an extra 8 minutes to either of the other 2 locations in town. Stood at the counter for about 5 minutes while the employees just talked in the back and once the gentleman came around the corner he just stood there and looked at me without speaking which led to a 10 second awkward silence of us just looking at each other, then he simply said “Hi.” I shouldn’t have to initiate a conversation at a food establishment. Once I got my sandwich the egg was still frozen in the middle of the sandwich and had to reheat it once I got home. Just an all around ridiculous experience. Went to another location this morning and it was a completely different and pleasurable experience with a great sandwich. They get 5 stars while this Walmart location gets 1. I should’ve...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this subway almost every week for a few months now. The younger girl (seems like she’s the owner or co-owner) at the front counter always seems to have an attitude, it’s like she’s in such a big obligation to make my sandwich/wrap. There’s no such thing as greeting the customer- saying hello, how are you, smiling or making any sort of eye contact. The unfriendliness is uncomfortable and I always hope someone else is behind the counter (the younger guys are nice and there is a new older woman who is very nice). She really should fix her approach- your in a people oriented business and everyone is PAYING for their food and service.. she’s not doing me a favor so she needs to stop acting like it every time she’s making my...
