One of the wheels on my bicycle has 2 broken spokes. Whilst shopping in the mall, I figured I would stop by Dick's and ask the guy in the bike section if they could repair broken spokes, and what their rates were. He confirmed that they could repair the broken spokes and that I could go ahead and bring it on in. A couple days later I come back with my bike to get it repaired. The same guy was there and he said that they didn't carry spokes in house and that he'd have to order them. He explained that it could be a couple weeks for the spokes to come in. He then told me that if I could order the spokes myself or by them elsewhere, I could bring it back with the new spokes and he could just repair it right there since it's a quick repair. He came across as very friendly and helpful and was just trying to get my bike fixed in the quickest manner. That's only reason I've given this 2 stars instead of 1.
Flash forward to today. I've acquired the new spokes and I take my bike back into the store expecting a quick turn around. I go up to the bike counter, and there is a different guy this time. He's just sitting in his chair looking bored. I tell him what my problem is and show him the new spokes. He just looks annoyed that I've come with work for him to do. He says that he can check my bike in, but it would be a 3 week turnaround. I look at him in disbelief and ask why it takes 3 weeks to get to my 15-20 minute repair job. He just says that they've got a lot of bikes in. Since I didn't feel like arguing, I just left and will take my bike elsewhere.

   Read moreWe used to have a big DSG store in fairfax but it was closed and moved to a smaller lot in the fair oaks mall with a small stock. So i went to the Dulles one. Even though it didn't seem they have a lot of staff around, but I was greeted and offered help quickly.
I was assisted by Ralph, who took the trouble to identify the model and price tag of the kayak for me and then an another round for a discount with the store mgr since the kayak was apparently the last one, missing manual and was stained some black marks, and then another round to help me to carry the kayak to the check out and eventually to my car.
He was so patient with me when I told him that I was not sure that my car would be large enough to carry the kayak inside, and I may need to return it if the kayak didn't fit in. While I was waiting at the check out, Ralph took the trouble to clean the stains on the kayak for me. I really appreciate his assistance patience and kindness. If it was not the professionalism and helpfulness of Ralph, I might not be able to purchase the kayak in the first place and carry it inside my car.

Then kept on walking around till I got to the soccer section where the soccer cleats for some reason nowhere couldnât be found in the soccer section. Finally, I found the section where soccer cleats are located. I approached an associate who I asked her beforehand if she knows anything about soccer cleats or if she works in that section, her response was yes. Completely wasted my time, 20 mins of going back and forth with her, didnât know anything, not a single piece of knowledge about soccer cleats or the difference between brands. I asked her for a specific type and legit made her search process easier so I can just buy and dip and all what she kept on doing is scanning and looking around. At the end she told me sorry. Didnât even bother to ask for help or finding a way of figuring out what I was looking for. I didnât post this because I couldnât find the product I was looking for, I posted this review because of the treatment I received when I was trying to be at best as I could to just make a quick in and out transaction.
