I visited the store on 7/10 late evening and it was slow and calm which created a good shopping experience as I do not like crowds. As I prepare to walk to the counter to be checked out that I’m scanning along the aisle/walkway it’s always messy with items of little trinkets you pick up along your way. You know the last minute grab n go! I finally made it to the counter. There is this tall, slender American girl and the another lady short about 5’3 fair skin with an accent. Granted I had a lot of items. I’m not sure if there was a training being done. I walk up to the counter and jokingly said “I only came in to buy one item for about $10 just to set the mood.” There was no response. I then asked if I can be made aware of when my items reach $250, the lady proceeds to say “look on the screen. It’ll tell you when you reach that amount.” no worries, I brush it off! Maybe she’s having a bad day. I’m standing at the register, looking at items as she is speaking under her breath i said pardon me. She goes, “I’m not talking to you I’m talking to her” I said OK, I then asked about how do you start a layaway? she said “ I don’t know what you want me to tell you he just open it.” at this point I’m beginning to get irritated because why are you giving passive aggressive attitude and unfriendly customer service? The lady then says I only can ring 50 items after that you have to start over.. 🤔 I said OK no worries if that’s what you have to do. My husband and I start by helping to remove the items from the hangers. I politely ask her to please do not stretch the shirt necks remove the hangers from the bottom. She had. Full attitude, I asked her if everything was okay? At this point, I’m upset and pissed because of the snide remarks and gestures that she had going on. I went off ! I asked for another cashier or manager, because the lady was being rude. The young friendly lady who is helping with the accent think she is from the US Virgin Islands was so sweet the best customer service ever. I did not get a name but she Descalated the situation, and she understood that the other lady was wrong, and I would definitely go back to her. I wish they could accept tips! She is who needs to be recognized. An individual does not need to be in the service industry if they cannot provide premier service, and set aside their personal issues the way the service with burlington has declined over the years. I am surprised that they are still open. The stores are still dirty. This is just one of the stores with better organization. although, the transaction ended well, it started off very bad. I’m still not sure if I will visit again, but if I do, I would prefer the young lady...

Read moreThis is the second time shopping having the same experience with the same representative there, young lady with dark complexion that was the only one at the cashier around 7:30pm September 26. She was so rude to us by the way she was talking to us while cashing out our stuff even the customer behind us noticed and said not to respond, we did not respond we had two trolley and I purposefully put back all the stuff we had from 1. Then she cash us out gave our receipt and then pointed us out to the manager saying the alarm went off. We went back in with our receipt the manager checked and she was the one who did not remove the sensor properly. This rep needs training and I said it to the manager I will no longer shop here.
