Went in to run an errand for my company and Jordan, the cashier made me feel like a criminal. While I prepared to spend 500 bucks on steam cards he seemed to be making sure I wasn't stealing..maybe I looked suspicious? Anyhow after the world's coldest interaction I asked if I could document my purchase and stand to the side and send photos of the receipts to my boss(time sensitive situation). He coldly replied "not in the store". Fine. I don't mind being refused permission to photograph in an establishment, but I do mind being treated like I'm liable to steal or commit some sort of crime. This was a horrible customer service experience and I hope this location doesn't represent GameStop as a whole. Do not recommend this location for customer service. They were well stocked and clean though.
UPDATE: I was being scammed and for whatever the reason the manager here either knew what was occurring and chose to ostracize me or didn't care and thought from my appearance that I was willingly participating. After reading up on this type of scam I'm sure that as a game store manager Jordan's aware of the signs of Steam card fraud(I wish he had of asked if I could verify or found a way to enlighten me). In a way he saved my company 1000 dollars...in another he made me feel as small and insignificant as my scammer. Leadership is more than being in a position of management. It's making informed decisions and acting. Jordan's cold-hearted and embarrassing actions are forever seared in my mind right beside...

Then after i described it to him and he found it. I Tried to do a price match. That was $10 cheaper at walmart. Showed them the ad at this location they tried to find EVERY reason why they couldnt match the price. RANDY threw the game case across the counter because we were explaining to him that it was NOT an online only deal. Or coming from a 3rd party vendor. And that we just did the same price matching thing at another location for a different game last week and that all we had to do was show the ad. He then told us to leave an go back to the other location. Even after the person i was with tried just buying the game regular price because we could see that he was gettin upset because he threw my game case across the counter. Very unprofessional.. Him throwing the case across the counter is on camera. Turned away a customer that shops at gamestop atleast 3-4 times a week. Went right to walmart and got the game $10 cheaper in less than 30 mins. Which i shouldāve done in the first place but here i am trying to stick with gamestop and get reward points. Will stick to walmart, bestbuy, and target...

The girl took his game, opened the box (the game was still in the unopened box it was shipped in) and didnāt give him a receipt and anything saying he was connected to the console. I went in very politely to ask the process and the shift manager with the colorful blonde, blue, green hair was rude and she couldnāt even answer my question regarding how the process works or when the manager would be in. The other girl at the counter with the short dreads and ring piercing stayed playing the game until jumping into our conversation to keep rudely repeating tomorrow, tomorrow and we open at 12. Then the shift manager said yāall can have it back and handed us the console back. I said they have rude customer service and they needed to do better and they went on saying whatever they were saying with the girl waiving her hand. Iām very disappointed and we will not be returning to this location and I will let everyone who will listen know about the incompetence of GameStop on Panola...
