I had so much junk piled up in my garage from corner to post. Walking around in there gave me panic attacks! I began thinking that someone or something would jump out at me and scare me to death! It was looking like a horror movie! I was too afraid to step into my own garage! Dont get me wrong, I like watching horror movies/shows, but, I actually felt like i was in one! I was living in it! 😬 Thats not a good feeling.

Then I finally came to the realization that I had became a baby hoarder! I say that because I had a lot of empty boxes everywhere! Little boxes, medium boxes, big boxes, large ones and even oversized boxes that I couldn't even see over! Why? Because I would use or need them one day. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Then there was the mattress & box springs, boxes of 18 year old toys that belong to my grandchildren. A huge 20 something year old Huge huge TV that hadnt been plugged up since it left a yard sale. It was lugged into my garage as a final resting place. (smh) An old washer and dryer! Enough was enough!! I have had it. I had made up my mind that it was time to get rid of all the junk and clutter!

I decided to call Junk King because i had used them years ago. I remember how nice and generous they were and what an excellent They job they had done the last time. They did an excellent job this time too They even went upstairs to haul down another mattress, box springs and more empty boxes! Oh and a big back TV!

Johnnie, Calvin & Matt were AWESOME! I have to say what I thought was going to be a hard thing; cleaning my parents storage, just me & my cousin. Also, being my mom's only child, my first time going through items after my mom's transition (passing), my dad wasn't able to come...turned out to be fun from opening the storage door, to finding out a rat had gotten in the storage, to Matt finding the rat. OMG, I screamed & never saw the thing. Matt made me laugh from beginning to end all while getting the job done. I honestly wanted to hug each of them. Johnny looking at my childhood books 'SWEET VALLEY HIGH' & saying "I remember this" totally made me smile & knowing that having the memories is enough. The team at Junk King was very professional, and the process was easy and transparent. I called and scheduled a visit to get a quote for a heavy piano and treadmill removal. Upon arrival, Jonny inspected the items and provided a straight forward quote based on the amount of space they would take up on the back of the dump truck. Instead of scheduling a second appointment for pickup, he called two members of his team that were nearby. They arrived within minutes, and worked laboriously to move the heavy items down (the piano) and up (treadmill) two sets of stairs.
