Went and ordered close to thirty dollars worth of food from here and while placing my order of Rasta pasta,they told me that it would take twenty minutes to prepare and I said okay. I got there around 7:00pm and was patient and waited until 8:25 pm, almost 8:30pm, only to inquire what was going on and was told that they ran out of the Rasta pasta I ordered and then I was asked if I could wait another fifteen minutes,I said definitely NOT !!! I had to be somewhere by 8:30 pm and I was already late because I had waited for over an hour. Moreover, they didn't have the courtesy to notify me that they had ran out of food and had to cook some more from scratch or ask my opinion if I wanted to wait further,they waited until I inquired to notify me. I demanded a refund and left. It was my first time here,first experience and they left a very bad first impression. As a food blogger I get a lot of suggestions to checkout an abroad variety of restaurants. YES, I AM NATIONALLY CERTIFIED! I focus on FOOD (portion, handoff, 3 Ts, appearance) environment, SERVICE and most of all CLEANLINESS. I'm scheduled to visit here next week and I will. I've read EVERY review and response. My suggestion to the owner: Get a PR person( it can be a family member) to write your responses . This will help with customer retention. ~Professionalism can go a long way. Don't respond to paying customers with a sense of being disgruntled because you don't like their opinions. ~Especially when you have more than 2 or 3 people saying the same thing. Take it as constructive criticism, get your team together and strategize to turn criticism into compliments. I look forward to seeing you guys...

Alrhough this place has really good reviews...I have been several times now..the first few times the food was Amazing. The last 3 times it's like the food isn't fresh or something. I ordered jerk wings & they were soggy not like they were right off the grill but like they were grilled earlier or the day before & they put water on them & heated them up. I also got a side of mac & cheese & it looked like Kraft mac & cheese out of the box. My daughter took one bite & said it was disgusting & she loves mac & cheese. Thirdly I got oxtails & rice...needless to say the oxtails had no flavor & the cabbage wss tart almost like it was spoiled.
