After reading a post on the Nextdoor app,I decided to go and pick up something for dinner for me and my son. I ordered the turkey wings that automatically come with rice and my two sides was cabbage and macaroni and cheese. I'm very funny about macaroni and cheese but he let me sample it before I ordered it. I already knew when I looked at it that it was going to be good when I came in the door and I was not disappointed when he let me sample it. The cabbage was also delicious. Not too salty but also it was not bland. The turkey wings were tender just the way I like themAnd well-seasoned. My son ordered the 10-piece honey mustard wings and fries. The wings were freshly cooked so we had to wait for them and the honey mustard sauce on them was delicious. I usually do not like the honey mustard wings but they have my approval. Even the fries were good. The yellow rice that came underneath the wings caught the flavor from the gravy and the turkey wings. Now let's talk about those yams. Honey when I tell you! My yams were gone before I got home.... let's just say that. Del, the owner, was very nice. The service to get our food was slow, only saw 2 people working, including the owner. I’m willing to give grace for that and especially since said owner was very friendly and professional, I just highly recommend you call your order in ahead of time. On to the food, I ordered the garlic parmesan salmon with yams and mac. This came with some yellow rice and we also ordered Oreo cheesecake.

The salmon and rice - loved it. Salmon was not dry at all, which I was worried about. Rice was perfectly cooked. Garlic parmesan sauce was delicious with just the right amount of spinach cooked in. 9/10.

Mac and cheese - Consistency was perfect but it was lacking flavor. It’s rare you find a baked mac that has both proper taste and texture; Del’s missed the mark on taste. 5/10.

Yams - too much vanilla. They could have added everything else perfectly but I wouldn’t know because the vanilla was overpowering, it took over all the other flavors. 4/10.

Kale - I had a sample of this and it was surprisingly delicious. 9/10.

Oreo cheesecake - it was good, but I imagine it’s kind of hard to mess up this item. A little thicker than I would have liked but I know some people...

I was searching Google maps & TikTok for local eats. That have lots big enough for semi parking. Came across Del's. Owner & staff was very nice. My husband had a turkey burger & sweet potato fries. #Bustin The fries where cooked just right with a drizzle of 🍯. Very good! I had turkey wing on top of yellow rice, 🍠 yams, kale & Mac n cheese. Good size portions. I had enough left for dinner that evening. Wing was a bit dry but had a good flavor but not a jerk flavor. Mac was a little dry also. 😪 The yams were really good & kale was excellent! I'll be eating more kale if it's cooked like Del's. We also got slices of lemon cake & chocolate. Didn't eat the chocolate it wasn't right. But the lemon was amazing. It had like a lemon curd or custard on top of the icing and was super moist. I had to steal it from my husband cause I threw the chocolate away. NOW! Let me tell you about that strawberry 🍓 pink lemonade 😋 😍 That lemonade set the standard for all lemonade! Ever!
