Rapid Liquors — Local services in Stoneham

The prices here are very competitive with any other bulk buyer. The staff is fairly knowledgeable (to be fair, I don't need to ask many questions). The beer selection is wonderful, there is always something new for the craft people, and there's always stock of the usual suspects. The fine wine selection is decent, but the display of it is really cool. The whisk(e)y is why is frequent Rapid. The selection is always amazing and the prices are very much on par with anyone else.

Very impressed with this store. The ONLY reason to not give 5 stars is the parking situation. Make sure not to shop during peak hours as the parking is fairly limited and somewhat difficult to access if you don't come from the correct side...

I have another local store that I go to because it's more convenient, but Rapid's is the place I go when I have time for the longer trip and want both quality selection and the best price. Rapid's is the one liquor store I will go out of my way to get to and make a special trip for the great prices. The have a great selection (a few years ago they added a gigantic walk in cooler with all the top specialty beers you could possible want) but the real reason to go is the prices. I challenge you to find anything they sell that's not the lowest price around - by a mile! I even make sure to pick up my Stonewall Kitchen stuff here because even that side display of specialty food benefits from the Rapid's low...

I'm sure there is something they could do better, but I have few complaints so I'll wait until that happens to lower my review.

They have suggested some amazing wines and beers to me, their prices (at least on hard liquors where I've actually done comparisons) with a bunch of stores is way below average (not as low as NH liquors, but the lowest I've found in MA), and they have a large enough store that they have an impressive selection.

It's a well run place all around. If I had to reach for something to improve, I guess it could use a better atmosphere and there are no case discounts on wine. But those things aren't stopping me from driving from Woburn to do most of my...
