Had another challenging and frustrating experience at the donut station at Giant Eagle Bakery in Hudson Ohio. I have SEVERAL staff who frequent this bakery and EVERY time it's a report of how challenging it is to get donuts out of the case. There is not enough ledge space to use as you try to place the donuts in the box, the doors swing back on you and just about knocks your elbow out of socket, and your hip acts as a door stopper as you brace for impact as the door swings back at you. I spoke with Emmitt who sent his team lead Michelle over. Emmitt was kind and listened to me but yet went and complained to Michelle about me expressing my dislike of the donut situation. Michelle started out understanding the concern then quickly moved to validating their broken system. She stated this was the first time she has ever heard this was a problem. That statement was completely not true especailly since Emmitt had just shared with me that almost everyone complains about the donut set up. I even had Michelle stand with me to witness another shopper struggling to package up her donuts right in front of us. Here's a resolution Michelle, instead of backing up your broken set up how about just finding a resolution and JUST FIX IT. FIX THE DOORS OR PROVIDE AN ADAQUATE PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO PACKAGE UP THEIR DONUTS without dropping them due the door...
