Read moreWas in Kohls in Stow today on my lunch where i shop a couple times a month was in shoe department to buy shoes trying to find someone for over 20 mins walking around to men's-appliances-jewelry finally found a employee coming in the store from outside delivering packaged to someone's car she was very nice called someone to meet me in shoes so i went back over to the shoe department to meet someone found a employee and ask her if she was working in shoes she said no she did not work in shoes but she would help me when she had a time i said I've been looking for someone for over 20 mins and she had an attitude immediately and said what do you want i said i would shop somewhere else and put the 2 pair of shoes down and left. There were 2 other women waiting for help in shoes with me at this time i called the store when i left to talk with the manager his name was KENT as i told him i was walking around the store for over 20 mins looking for someone he cut me off right then said i yelled at his employee and hung up on me I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KOHLS AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been going to this store for over 10 yrs and never ever have been treated this way this is WRONG !! I called Kohls cooperate office and left a message to call me. Iam not one to complain but have worked retail my entire life. How do people expect the public to purchase from your business for 10 yrs and get treated like this. Its called bad management !!!!!! If Kent was doing his job i wouldn't be writing this. Read moreI used to love Kohl's. But my recent shopping experience was just not so pleasant. The place was very messy. Some toys and boxes of toys were put on the floor in the toy section. The racks and aisles are so close to each other, making the passway very narrow. It is difficult to navigate the store without bumping into racks or merchandise. I can't imagine how inconvenient it is for anyone with a stroller or wheelchair to get through. They have more display items and great deals, but they need to either expand their store or have a better arrangement. The checkout line and return line are also very long. Although Kohl's has awesome coupons, it takes more time to shop there than in other stores, and I just hate very crowded aisles and racks.
Update: I went there recently. The aisles are much wider. The clothes are arranged better too. The toy sections are still somehow messed up. I bought a winter coat and pants. The total price is around $200, and I have a 40% off coupon hoping to save $80. But this coupon didn't apply to the items I wanted to buy, and I was told coupons can't be used for some merchandise but not all brands. I paid the full price because I had already spent the whole morning to find those pieces that fit and I like. I'm not very pleased.
