Central Nails Salon & Spa — Local services in Stratford

I've been going here for 2and a half years and after thousands of dollars spent with them..I've gotta say I will never go back there after today. Today i waited patiently for 45 minutes , no biggie. My issue is that owner christina argued with me because I was asking for my normal tech vivian to fix the design I asked her for. I showed her a picture when I first sat down, asked if it's something she could do. She assured me that she could , although it wasn't a horrible attempt.. it wasn't what I asked for. Christina started commenting from her station that that's why she hated doing my nails, that I was too picky (something she had said on numerous occasions before), that they didn't have time for this, accused me of going somewhere else just because I hadn't been there in a while, and then tried to shush me when i was explaining what the problem was. My set was over a month old simply because of my schedule, but I haven't been to another salon since I started going to central.. but the principle is that it's not her place to to question that. After christina went back and forth with me for the next few minutes i finally told vivian to finish and let me pay her and that they didn't have to worry about me coming back. I went here once and the nails came out pretty good but the 2nd time I came I had a male nail tech and he was very rude from the time I sat down until I left. I came in for a simple refill and he filed my nails down very roughly and cut my thumb nail off because he said it was lifting, it wasn't and he never even asked me. The tried to rip the nail off of my finger with a another nail tip. I told him to stop and it was a fresh set and it needs to be soaked off. He then proceeded to try to rip it off anyway even though I said it hurt. I had to snatched my hand back and for him to stop. He finally listened after me telling him 3 times that he was hurting me and finally soaked the nail off. I then proceeded to let him refill my nails I was getting an ombre nail with clear at the base and glitter at the top. My nails came out very rushed and very sloppy. They were lumpy, uneven and acrylic was all on my cuticles. The glitter was wrong he used pink instead of the clear and the ombre looked like glitter underneath foggy pink. The next day I put a shoe on and the thumb that he cut without permission had completely snapped in half. I will never go back to this salon I had to go to another salon to fix the messed caused and pay more money 1 day after paying $50 for this refill. Very...

DO NOT recommend!!!!!! Unprofessional. They charge you a different price than what is listed on their board. I went in with long natural nails for a simple manicure (cut and shape), they didn't know how to care for them. The manicure looked like they were prepping my nails for a full set. I had to file and shape my own nails prior to leaving. They also over charged my card when I paid. Amount was different than what was on the receipt. They didn't want to fix it. Called my bank to verify the charge and they still tried to blame my card account. They also tried to push me to get my daughter gel polish, when we were okay with regular polish for a simple manicure. For 5 mins, wouldn't stop telling me about the benefits of gel, when I clearly stated regular polish when we walked in and do not want to deal with removing the gel polish at home or pay to have it removed. I just wanted to have a nice afternoon with my daughter to get a simple manicure. I will never take my daughter or myself...
