I’m brand new to the Jeep Wrangler family, and as I’m sure most other Wrangler owners will know, upgrading and mods become addicting. One of the first upgrades I wanted to make was to the sound system as the stock Wrangler isn’t the best there. Well, I came across American Soundbar looking for custom speaker systems online and I’m glad I did. I was immediately comfortable with the process as the owner walked me through the process and various options via FaceTime. He was able to schedule me to come in on their off day, Saturday. Also wanted to note that I was heading there from NYC, but based on the previous reviews, it seemed to worth the drive.

I arrived at their very well organized garage and with all parts laid out neatly for the job. They got started immediately and for a job that was scheduled to take 4-5 hours, they were done in 3. Everything was done neat and professional. You would never know they in there, as most of the components were tucked away. As the for the sound, WOOO!…I was blown away, almost literally. With the owner being a perfectionist, he went around the Jeep to make sure everything was up to his standards and it showed. After the job was done, he showed me around the workshop including the amazing mancave-esque waiting area, complete with couches, tv, ping pong table, etc.

From start to finish, American Soundbar delivered top-notch service. I purchased the Kicker kit and paired it with the JL Audio BassWedge CP210-W0v3 enclosure for my daughter’s 2020 Jeep JL, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

The soundbar itself is extremely well-built, fits seamlessly, and bolts directly into the existing factory holes—making the installation clean and solid. The sound quality is outstanding: loud, crisp, and clear, truly unmatched compared to other aftermarket options I’ve tried.

One word of advice—if you’re a novice, I strongly recommend a professional installation. The Uconnect system can be tricky to integrate with if you don’t carefully plan your setup, and having an experienced installer will save time and frustration.

Met Sal at a jeep show in Maryland! Fortunately we live in New Jersey and only a few hours away from the shop! Called up and explained what we wanted done to the jeep! We got the soundbar with 4 8” mid speakers and 4 tweeters! We also got two kicker L7 Subs installed! When I went to pick up the jeep I ended up purchasing a roll bar with 2 more 8” mid speakers! Sal and the team did a phenomenal job on the installation and went above and beyond to meet my expectations! The stereo is insanely loud, crisp and clean sound and the bass rattles your chest!
