Tacos Los Morros — Restaurant in East Stroudsburg

Been here twice. First visit was great all around but didn’t post a review. Second visit was not. We were the only ones in the place and it took nearly 25 mins to get a burrito and three tacos. After waiting 15 mins the lady at the counter asked “Did you want carnitas on both the burrito and the tacos?” After which they appeared to finally BEGIN making our order.

Chips were very hard and stale. Not sure if that was some authentic recipe or if they were just old.

Burrito shell was fantastic, but unfortunately also the highlight of the burrito. Soft, yet lightly fried and golden with just a hint of crisp. The carnitas and other ingredients on the other hand could have had a lot more seasoning. Pretty bland.

Tacos do not come with cheese.

Mild green salsa was good.

For a $12 burrito and $12 tacos, I expected more flavor (and better...

I ordered the al pastor tacos and birria tacos. The staff were great, even at less than 30 minutes to close I didn't feel like a burden. The place was clean and organized. The guys cooking appeared to be clean and sanitary. The food was delicious. The al pastor was tender and flavorful. I would have liked a little more cilantro, but I'll ask for that next time.

The birria tacos were very well made, but not much flavor. That said, I'd never had them before, I just imagined more beef flavor, or maybe pepper flavor. I'm not sure. I will get them again because I liked the texture and adding the salsa and radish absolutely made this work.

I'm looking forward to returning and trying more on their menu. I like that it is a short menu because it helps me feel they are focused on making things right and so far, that's what...

Fantastic service with a smile! They haven't been open for business long, but I can definitely see them with a steady stream of customers on a daily basis. We will be returning quite often.
