We have Issuez — Local services in Stuart

Took my son to this shop today, it was both of our first time in this shop and I have currently have mixed feelings about it! The store was small but nice! I am very new to comic collecting and only have like 50 or 60 books but want to expand it and had a decent budget to do so on this father son bonding shopping trip!

There was a good selection in this small store and even the discount bins were so over stuffed we couldnt look through them without removing books!! My only Issuez were we were never greeted, never talked too, and they barely even notice we were there while we looked at almost every item in this store including the glass showcases! That is untill it was time to pay!

We ended up grabbed a random Spawn book and some Pokémon cards just so we didnt leave empty handed. The owner/employee seemed nice but was more interested in talking to some girl, possibly a fellow employee, about other comic stores and holidays stuff. My son is very awkward and shy but is VERY into Anime, Pokemon, Manga, and TCGs And I hoped this could be a chance for him to find his people. Instead he felt uncomfortable, and just wanted to leave.

All the reviews say this shop is super friendly and owners are so nice so maybe it was the time of day or the fact it was Sunday afternoon or maybe it was is the norm for this type of shop? Maybe there are more welcoming people there during the week whe they are busier? So, I went to this shop to purchase a Yugioh Booster box on May 9, 2023 at 12:50 right after leaving my VA appointment. I purchased this box and went to another TCG store to purchase a box that We Have Issuez didn’t have. It was at this time that one of the patrons noticed that my box looked funny. I hadn’t noticed since I didn’t really look at it. Upon closer inspection from other patrons and two employees of this TCG, it was confirmed that this box had been opened and then resealed! You notice the cut right above where Konami original sealed the box, which leads into a clear crimp of the plastic wrap! I called to ask for a refund as I had no opened the box or it’s contents! I was told no, and called a liar by the owner. He then told me that he gets all his product from another distributor and that they don’t sell him resealed products! So my question was, which one of them was the crook? He says he didn’t reseal it, the distributor didn’t reseal it, I don’t have the time nor the resources or reason for resealing it…yet, he refused the refund! I’ll take the loss but I’d advice anybody buying Yugioh cards to look carefully at the packaging. All I wanted was a fair refund. No harm no foul! All I can do at this point is contact...

This place is one of the best of all comic shops that I have been to from Japan to California and everywhere in between. Not the biggest collection I've ever seen... but every time I have left way happier than I expected to. The owners are great and run their store with care and put the customer first. I have never experienced that personally from a comic shop. Every single time, I have received an extra good deal, that was not necessary to make a sale.
