Basil Garden of Stuart — Restaurant in Stuart

I've been here a total of two times. The food is really good, but this place is remarkably dirty. I found a roach floating in my water. The tables, chairs and floors are sticky. I'm quite surprised that this place gets the reviews it does, as I just started working in down town Stuart recently and everyone around here knows not to eat here for lunch. It's a shame because the food really is good, but the possibility of food poisoning from the poor sanitary conditions is not worth it. Please BE WARNED.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. I am sad to say this because I have been excited to one day eat here. I love Thai food however, Their food has the taste of something out of a jar (and not a good one either). I do not believe they have chefs that really know how to cook Thai food aside from opening a jar and heating a premade sauce. The only thing I really can say I liked was the curry wontons. Sadly they alone are not enough to bring me back. I tried to make myself eat the Pad Thai, trying to accept perhaps it was just a different preparation in the end I coundn't I sent back the ginger salad and left the Chicken Pad Thai.
