Door County Fair — Local services in Sturgeon Bay

Same fair different year. Except the prices that have gone up yet again and are now only affordable to the rich and middle class if they have put away money. If the lower income or impoverished wish to enjoy the fair they might have to go hungry for the following week... Guess it keeps out the riff raff. Seriously though the prices are disgusting and are not in anyway accessible to everyone. I would like to see vendors and activities/rides that don't cost a fortune to enjoy. Maybe if it was affordable and accessible to all it would draw a larger and more diverse crowd until then it will continue to becomeore and more of a thing that only the well off can enjoy and as a Door county citizen this makes me sad and disappointed in our county event planners...

Great little fair, so much to offer. You need to really take the time to go into the 4-H buildings and see displays of art, floral and food.

Lots of nice events I liked in particular were the horse show and the dock dogs. I need to catch the racing ducks at some point as well. Great safe place to take your kids, like going...

Great small fair. If you go there expecting alot of vendors and food stands you'll be disappointed, not at big choice. I knew up going to a huge county fair where there was probably 50 or more food vendors. But if your into small,quant little town fair,this fits its purpose. Very,very clean animal area....
