I used to love coming here. After tonight, I'll definitely think twice before purchasing my groceries here. Based on past visits, it appeared that this business was taking Covid-19 quite seriously, and was taking steps to protect their customers. But when I went there tonight, the floor cleaner, who was not wearing a mask, got well within 2 feet of me. I thought maybe it was a one-off, bad employee, especially considering the way he was dressed, which was wholely unprofessional. Then I wandered down a few more aisles. I encountered 5 more employees, no face masks in sight and making no attempts at social distancing, despite the fact that the aisles were uncrowded given the hour. I was highly disappointed that my favorite grocery store clearly changed their policies regarding employees wearing face masks. When I got to the checkout, I was pleasantly surprised to see ny cashier wearing a face covering! I thanked her for her efforts and for wearing a face mask! I then asked her when the policy had changed regaring employees wearing face masks. She informed me that the policy had not changed, and while it was mandatory for their employees to wear face coverings, management wasn't enforcing that policy. I am very sad that despite having a mandatory policy to protect your customers, only one out of seven employees cares...
Read moreOkay so I reviewed this place a few months ago because the same old lady Kelly was rude and acted like it was such a job to come check us out. Here’s the tea from an experience I had yesterday. My boyfriend and I were behind an older couple who were buying bubbler water and in their ads from their paper, it said 2 for $3 for a 6 pack of bubbler water. It did not ring up as that, the guy asked him about it, the cashier called over his supervisor (kelly) who looked into it. she couldn’t figure it out (shocker). So he called another manager over like the announcer thing (sorry I don’t know what it’s called). Manager told him it was a miss print. The cashier explained this to the guy, the guy didn’t want them anymore but the cashier needed a supervisor (again Kelly…) to take them off the purchase. When Kelly comes over, she just starts going at the guy for it being a miss print before he could even get a word in about not wanting them anymore. My boyfriend and I both work in retail, so 1. Why does it take 3 people to figure this out. And 2. If it’s a misprint by Tadych’s marketplace, why wouldn’t you just take care of it instead of arguing with the customer. It was $9… just take care of it because it’s your company’s fault on the misprint. Again. Why do you keep Kelly around, she...
Read moreI have previously been a regular customer because the meat department and bakery are great and I liked the fact that Tadych's carries local products. I overlooked the poor produce section and higher prices overall. At this time I can no longer support Tadych's with my business. Prices have increased steeply. Deals that require one to "buy 5" don't make sense for most customers. Getting rid of baggers hasn't been terrible for those of us who routinely have large orders. I am also tired of shelf and display prices not matching register prices. I feel like this has become a "bait and switch" situation (which is illegal btw) and this has happened regularly to me on my last several visits. When I point out the shelf price/display price the staff/manager either shrug or act like I'm being dishonest. The expectation that shelf/display prices match register prices is a pretty low bar. If you shop at Tadych's do check your receipt and maybe take pictures of displays/shelves with lower prices so you can call these errors to the attention of the manager. Shopping at this store has become an ordeal. Regretfully - I'll visit other local grocery options and/or travel...
