I purchased a used phone on Nov 27th. They put the SIM card in and it didnât work. They apologized and said they didnât know why that happened, etc.. They said according to their policy they couldnât process a return payment because it wasnât âpossibleâ with their computer system. So, they said they would send me a Visa card for the amount of the phone. I waited several weeks and called to check on the status. I spoke with store manager, Ethan, who promised they would reprocess and send it out. That was Dec 10th. I called back Dec 22, Jan 5th, Jan 12th. Told the same thing every time. It is now Feb 21st. They sold me a phone that didnât work- I didnât even leave the store with it - and still have never been refunded. Essentially, T-mobile lied and stole from me. I am now following it up with my bank.
As a follow up: T-Mobile lied to my bank stating that I left the store with the phone and never returned it. I was sold a phone that didnât work and was promised a gift card they never sent. Thank goodness we did so, because as soon as Ethan the store manager was notified of our predicament he was immediately starting working on a solution, learning our problem inside out. Before we got into the store he was already calling me to learn more and see what he would need to help us out. The level of service and care only increased as we delved into getting my mom and I taken care of. We have a brand new TV and the TV signal strength shows all bars. We have tried to work with customer service and they really aren't tech people. I can troubleshoot the problem just as good as they can and thats pretty much where they stop. We are beyond frustrated with this company.
