It's a pretty decent sporting good store especially for the area. I do think people expect too much since we're not really a metropolitan area and our population swells only in the summertime when tourism is at its highest. Causes a lot of issues with ebbs and flows for the retail stores in our area. One shouldn't have the expectation of stores to be as robust as areas that have a larger population and ultimately more stable flow of customers. Dunham's is pretty reasonable and adds a bit of convenience. They do discounts for local teams and if you sign up you get coupons in your email for an extra bit off like we did today at 15%. We usually go on a mission because we need something for the upcoming season so I don't have much of an opinion on browsing the store. I usually hit them up to their archery stuff and sport shoes. They usually have a pretty good selection of archery related items but I knocked them down a star because it's hit and miss when you go there for shoes not having what you need in stock for the kids. I find it disappointing/troubling that once again they did not have inventory on hand forcing me and I am assuming others to...
Read moreReally snooty, rude lady that works there. Was condescending to my girlfriend at the checkout and refused to check a price on an item for us. Instead of politely pointing out that the price was in tiny print on the bottom of the box, she turned the box over and shoved it in our faces. There is however a nice guy that works there that I actually purchased a kayak from this summer. Won't return though because of the really rude lady. We were in there on two different occasions when she acted like that, so it wasn't just her having a bad day. She was also VERY slow at checking people out. What should've taken five minutes to get three people ahead of us in line through the check out literally...

It was an awesome experience and kudos to that gentleman for searching like that for a child it...
