Friday 9-8-2023 Walked in to get some plywood. Door was open, lights on inside. Old guy with glasses at the counter, very rudely tells me, “we’re closed, can’t you see the lights are off?” I replied, “well I didn’t know that, the door is open, usually I don’t judge whether a store is closed or not by a light bulb on or off.” And he only had rude things to say back, until he just put his head down and ignored me. That could have been 100% different outcome and I would have went back when they next opened. But now I will make sure to tell everyone not to spend their money there, due to that one man behind the counter.

Just save your money and go to ace/ the co-op or head to Green Bay. There is a reason their shelves are as bare...

Bought all of our very expensive windows and doors at the old Lamperts. Front doors after 7 years are faded and spotted. Walked in to discuss what we could do and all 3 people I finally talked with were rude. The man said he’d call the company for me, ‘maybe next week’. It’s Monday. Also, that the doors if in the sun only last a couple of years. What??? The woman then went to her computer to find the number so I could call myself. We will be building a new home soon and I will drive to GB before Ill use...

This lumber yard is certainly adequate for the year round city population of under 10,000 people. They carry as much as they can to balance that difficult task of offering good product selection at an affordable price to save customers the expensive and time consuming half day trip to Green Bay. I'm thankful that they are here. Reasonable prices and excellent, professional staff. You may save a little cash by going to Green Bay but the product knowledge and know how of these professionals can't be...
