When I walked into angel nails, I already had in mind what I wanted. I wanted my pinky and thumb to be pink, my ring and pointer finger to be pink with a glitter polish over it, and I wanted my middle fingers to have a white heart. When I told my nail tech what I wanted she said okay but didn’t look sure about what I said, so I repeated it and told her I wanted stiletto style nails and she told me no. She said I have small fingers, coffin or square. I didn’t quite know what to say because frankly I was paying for the nails and didn’t expect the nail tech to say no when I was paying for them. I just said coffin and was fine because I was choosing between either coffin or stiletto in my head beforehand but when it came time to cut them she told me if where she put the scissors was good, I told her I wanted medium length and she didn’t move the scissors she just cut. I wanted acrylic nails but after I showed her the colors she brought dip powder over in the colors I asked for. When she was putting the pink on I told her I wanted pink on all of my nails and glitter over the pink on my ring finger and pointer, but when I said I also wanted pink on those fingers she shut the glitter and put it away. At that point I was done fighting her and I was basically letting my nail tech do my nails however she thought it would look good. As I said in the beginning I wanted a heart on both my middle fingers but as you can see in the picture she disregarded my request and put the hearts on my ring fingers. I am a nurse and like many hard working people, I am on my feet for 12+ hours a night for several nights a month. I just wanted to sit with my friend relax and have a nice pedicure and manicure and I have no problem paying for it. As soon as I sat down the girl got right tocwork! And I mean FAST! So fast she barely did any thing. She continually tried to get me to do shellac or gel on my toes and I told her I only wanted regular. She did it...very fast and very poorly. Don't believe me look at the photos. You can't even tell I had a pedicure! My calluses are so bad my feet look dirty! I did have hot water for my soak though so that was nice. Then to my finger nails...I got each hand dipped in cold water for approximately 5-7 seconds as she QUICKLY nipped a few pieces of cuticles from my nails. Then she dipped my fingers glossed them over slapped some cuticle out across my nails and said "There you done!" My hands were so covered in dip powder the water was PINK when I asked to washy hands. Then I had to ask for lotion and give my self a hand massage. I sat in the chair next to my friend as she continued her nice relaxing manicure and dip for another 15 minutes and then sat next to her as she got a nice hand perhaps the bussiness is good and Ijust got the one employee who thinks i pay money to watch how fast she can be instead of letting me relax. Oh boy I usually never leave reviews but I feel like something needs to be said this time. My friend and I went to have a fun time. We wanted 2 full sets. We walked in wrote our names down and sat to wait for our turn. I was called first to the chair and was excited to show the nail tech the design I wanted. The moment she seen what I wanted she was annoyed and had attitude, I assume it was because she didn’t want to spend her time doing the design. So I decided to choose a different easier design and again was given attitude. At that point my fun time turned into being miserable. I washed my hands and sat down. She handed me all the colors, I didn’t want to be there anymore and choose the first color I seen. Then She did my nails very poorly. They were bumpy, uneven and weren’t even the same size. I was getting very frustrated. My friend was still waiting to get her nails done, she sat and waited patiently. Other people had came in after us and was worked on before she could even get a chance to be seated in the chair. I had enough and we decided to leave. I paid $54 for nails that needed to be redone the next day. They were so horrible my BOYFRIEND even called them ugly after I asked if he liked my nails.
