We arrived August 1st or 2nd. The man at the front desk was very rude to my 82 year old mother, but she was happy to find a room close to where all her activities were taking place and over the years my father and her stayed at this motel and they were always satisfied. This is her home town, and she was visiting for a class reunion....She jokingly called it her fair well tour. At one point I went to get change for the vending machine (it wouldn't take my crisp dollars), It took the man 5 minutes to count out 5 dollars in quarters, I was stunned. Then I find out the machine is empty (no indicators showing that), I went back to the front desk and asked if there was another soda machine, I was rudely told no, that's horrible business, for over 100 rooms and you have one empty machine. We stayed from Monday to Wednesday morning, thinking we were staying at least one more night, we left out luggage in the room, stopped at the front desk and informed them we would be staying another night, possibly two, we left to go visit our family buried in the cemetery. My mom received a call from the manager telling her we had to vacate our room immediately. In the middle of our time cleaning my grandparents headstone, we had to leave and grab our luggage. When we arrived back, it was a whirl wind of others vacating the hotel as well, everyone was told to get out. During our stay, my mom asked to have our beds made while we were out, we were told "Due to covid they aren't able to make beds of visitors staying more then over night". We had to get snotty just to receive more towels (there was 3 of us and they gave one set of towels for the room). It appears it is a family ran business, and I applaud anyone that works hard to establish themselves, especially immigrants who have come to the US to gain the "American dream", however, if you want to do business with other American's you should learn how to talk to customers in a more professional, less caustic manner. The husband and wife (the wife looking right at me and lying to me about basic amenities) were so rude, the other man was rude and didn't have the basic skills to give change yet they had him working the front desk. When I turned the key into the front desk, the parent's avoiding MANY angry customers put there 15(?) year old son at the front instead, he was polite and apologetic for something he had no part of. I was angry, but without raising my voice (because this kid didn't do anything wrong) I explained this was deplorable treatment to their guests, I also made mention of how the manager spoke to my mother, he's not much of a man that could look at my Betty White looking mom and be so disrespectful, seriously, SHAME ON YOU!! 15 years ago I would have had a melt down, no one disrespects my mom, but having smoothed my rough edges with time and wisdom I will write a review instead. I hope someone gains some knowledge from...

These people are the craziest rudest vulgar dirty cons ever. They will do whatever it takes to keep your depisite and or any other money you may have coming in a refund. The lie saying you took towels or whatever or the smelly greasy little woman at desk will say she smelt smoke in your room just to get into your room and steal your things. Then they threaten to call the police even when you have done nothing even after you already left the prop
Do not EVER book a room here . The most worst experience ever in my life . The Foreigner that run it need to go back to their own country. These people were so rude, unprofessional, lied, lied, lied and the guy at the front desk tried to flirt with me and made vulgar sexual comments. I had 5 nights booked. My daughter came to visit and I had no clue for whatever reason she was not allowed on the property and she also did not know so she kindly apologized and waited outside for me to gather her things . Then out of the blue they decide to kick me off the property and now they refuse to refund the other 4 nights and the deposit They called police for no reason I was already off the property and nobody even gave them a hard time . My god who just does this its totally unlike anything I've ever experienced. These people need a lesson in how to treat people with good customer care and they need to know THEY CANT COME TO AMERICA AND BE SO DISRESPECTFUL LIKE THAT . GO BACK TO YOUR OWN...
Read moreWhat was I thinking? Well, I thought for what they were charging, it would be comparable to a Comfort Inn, Rodeway Inn, something like that. NOOOOOOOO. I paid $74 WITH a discount and have definitely stayed in much cleaner, up to date places for that amount of money.
Someone should write to Wyndham, complain about their franchisee. I've stayed in some very unpleasant motels. This among the worst of them. The fixtures, furniture, etc. were all new....in 1990. As some others have noted, there is some problem with ventilation, so there is condensation dripping down the window on the inside. Likely contributes to the mold problems that others have commented about.
I brought my sleeping bag up. I'd hate to get under those sheets and have to share them with bedbugs. The shower grout hasn't been replaced in years and the shower head looks like it's coming out of the wall.
In the common areas, the walls are battered, some holes in places. The entire place just looks poorly taken care of.
The internet is free because it barely functions. I was given a password, but was able to log onto the network without it and my laptop indicated that it is unsecured.
At least the refrigerator works and it's clean inside. I wish I could sleep...
