Howdy, my name is Freddy aka Mountain Top (Because I'm so high). I'm an old, newly crippled Blues singer from Pennsylvania.

I visited The Dude Abides on Monday November 11. I've been a Dudeist since 2019 and visiting The Dude Abides has been pretty high up on my bucket list for quite some time.

Over a year and a half ago I contracted a yet undiagnosed ailment that has pretty much crippled me. I've been passed from doctor to doctor and am currently in the care of The Cleveland Clinic. I feel I've lost everything since contracting this condition. My entire way of life has changed. Things I once did easily I can no longer accomplish. I bring this up because visiting The Dude Abides, for me, was more than just buying something. It was a true Religious experience.

I am a Christian. But identify as a Christian Dudeist. As such, a guy like me has no real tangible place to visit to really feel at peace unless we create one ourselves.

The Dude Abides was that experience I had wanted and hoped for.

Yes, their selection is vast & expansive and the prices are very affordable. And I'm a guy use to paying $20 an ounce on the The Rez in New York. But the true star of the show is the employees.

A huge thank you and shout out to every Dude working that day. Macee, Austen, Pat, Nani and Shane. My most sincere apologies if I left anyone off.

What I wanted, I got. And the best part was, it was free.

Acceptance.

For the first time in a long time I felt normal. I felt I was with Dudes who cared and could completely understand the struggles I was facing on my life's journey.

Yes, I purchased a few things that did assist with my medical condition, but the nontangible items I received like the fist bumps and hugs meant more to me than any product they were selling on their shelves and I think they knew that.

If you want to legally buy in Michigan, go to any dispensary in Michigan. There's a metric ton around the state. They'll all sell you what you want and treat you like a customer.

But...

If you want to feel special. Like someone who actually matters. If you want helped by the most kind, considerate and compassionate employees you'll ever meet, then go to The Dude Abides.

You got a fantastic manager and you are all shining examples of what true positivity Dudeist can bring to this pathetic unforgiving planet we live on. THANK YOU!!! It's nice to know there are good Dudes not only out there, But they exist in a place Dudeist like me can flock to when we need to feel special...

The Dude abides is a good dispensary with good quality marijuana products recreational or medicinal. I will say you get what you pay for here. I purchased an ounce of a strain called Bermuda Triangle that was $55 because I was trying to get a good deal but when I got home and smoked some then it gave me a headache and the stiff neck. They say the two main reasons for that is dehydration or overuse but I was not dehydrated and I only use my water bong for that "one hit quit" so I know it was the bud. Plus I smoked some with friends and they claimed to have a headaches as well. Other than that I purchased several other strains there since and been very pleased! It's not a big deal so try them out! They have a great staff ready to help and quite knowledgeable. You get what you get and you don't...

Kept hearing how good this place is. Free t shirts and pre rolls. Went about a year ago to Sturgis good prices but no freebies. Left disappointed. Decided today to try again after friends said it's better now. Yeah from the moment I walked in the door I knew it was going to be the same. Bud tender not friendly or helpful and felt like I was just being rushed to get me out. Asked about a t-shirt was told it costs extra. Asked about a free preroll since I spent 200 bucks and was told they don't have any although the 20 something female at the next register got one. I give up on this place

Also the bud I got pink runtz has a moldy taste major disappointment and also not labeled correctly according to michigan state law, just the strain and quantity written on the bag...
