I am rather disappointed in this place. For the size of the store, the selection isn't great and the prices are rather high. Also, I have been taking chemo treatments for cancer (I'm only 56), and I asked if someone could help bag my groceries for me (there was only one lane open other than the self checkouts and it was marked "You Bag"). The gal that was going to bag them for me rolled her eyes. And when she was finished, she just walked away and didn't say anything. I said to her, "Thank you very much for your help", and again she didn't reply. I wouldn't have asked for help if I didn't need it. Chemo makes a person very weak. I had a chemo cap on as I have lost all my hair, and I'm very pale. I also had on two masks and have trouble walking. It was pretty obvious I was not entirely well. Regardless, rolling your eyes at someone and not speaking to them is not professional and quite childish. This incident has kept me from going back. I don't need their condescending attitude. I have enough of my own problems to deal...
Read moreReally enjoy having such a wonderful, clean Festival close by. The deli is amazing and the meat deli has some great secrets in there, too. If you're like me you shop for the basics most of the time - packaged ground beef, hot dogs, packaged chicken. I really do encourage you to check out the meat deli for a bit of a change up at times though. The pre-made, seasoned hamburger patties or kebabs or perfectly cut steaks are amazing for summer grilling. The salad bar is so delicious. Produce is always fresh and not bruised up or discolored. Incredible selection of foods in ALL the deli sections. Always my go-to dinner idea station. Oh, I can't forget to talk about the bakery either. Oh my gawd... can't say enough about the bakery! Soooo many items, from monster cookies to doughnuts to amazing cakes to perfect 7 layer bars - nothing is a...
Read moreI frequently shop at Festival Foods because of their excellent quality and friendly staff, despite the high prices to feed my family of five. However, yesterday I experienced a rude cashier. She never said "hello" or "did you find everything ok" like usual. In fact, she never said a word to me until she told me what my total bill ($286.00) was, which was not followed by a please or anything. When I told her I had coupons, she snatched them from my hand and rolled her eyes. I've never experienced an attitude like this at Festival Foods, it's really too bad. Good Customer service is very hard to find, unfortunately, but a suggestion to Festival Foods management would be to increase the supervision of employees' customer service skills as well as their...
