I bought a phone last week at one of the Verizon stores. I asked the salesperson if he could download my numbers from the old phone to my new phone. He did so and then gave me a number for a Verizon technician to talk me through the process of connecting it to my car. When I got home I found out something was wrong. The numbers were wrong and only partial numbers. My son said something about a cloud picking up some information from years ago. The next day I decided to go to the store in Suamico. I told Paul my problem and he said he would take a look at it. In a matter of a few minutes this young man had erased all the bad information and had all the numbers from my old phone transferred to my new one. Read moreLots of problems from the start, employee we worked with at the initial purchase was let go, was given the name of a business manager due to we are on a business account. Matt was the manager we tried to work with but very little feed back from him and the issues we were dealing lasted 6 months, either his voice mail was full and you could not leave a message most of the time and even more frustrating when you did get to leave a message he would not reply to my voice mail or e-mail. We have been in sales for over 30 years and never had a manager as bad as this one no people skills and again we dealt with our problems for 6 months. If not for being stuck with paying off our phones we would leave, never have I dealt with a manager like this, being a manager you should be able to help your customers not add to their frustrations. I went in for a new phone ordered it because the sales person said there was a promotion going on for $100 off if I upgraded, so I ordered a new phone. Went in to pick it up a few days later and was told that promo didn’t exists by the sales person “Alex” then when signing the paperwork I checked my email to find out the sales person “Alex” signed me up for $11mo insurance which I didn’t ask for. As I was paying the tax for me new phone I also found on my paperwork a $20 in store charge for “set up” no one ever told me there would be a charge for this.
