I never do reviews but feel like I need to this time. I scheduled appointments for me and my 10 year old daughter (back to back due to Covid I wanted to ensure I could be with her as she’s never had a full eye exam), I had not had an exam in probably 15 years. We had the first portion of the exam with lady who was super nice and even allowed my daughter to take a look at what she sees on her side during my portion of the test. Then we saw the Dr. for the other portion of the exam, she was very thorough and ensured we both (my daughter and myself) understood everything and that we had no questions or concerns. She even helped to ease my mind regarding something a previous eye doctor had advised me of years ago. I will say the only thing I wasn’t fond of was, as I see others have said, some of the lady’s in the front are “snooty” or not very friendly. Before the exams, in the waiting nook (or whatever it is), I was filling out paper work and my daughter was standing next to me talking to me, her mask had fallen down under her nose and as one of the women walked past she noticed and was not very kind in telling her to put it back up. My daughter even apologized, but the woman didn’t even respond to it. My daughter felt uncomfortable then and even said “Mom I didn’t even realize! I always make sure it’s on right..”. I understand, it’s her job and it’s for the safety of all, and I’m okay with her being told to put it up, just think it could have been friendlier, as she’s a child. Overall though, the visit went well and we will be sticking with them...
Read moreDr. Mueller was super nice! She talked to me like a human being and made me feel like I wasn't a burden to her. Very friendly and knowledgeable....the other staff seemed like we were a burden to them as soon as we walked in.... not very friendly, seemed like they didn't like their jobs. After my appointment I was trying on glasses and they kept fogging up, so I pulled my mask down for a few seconds so I could see what they looked like, because I'm not going to spend $400 dollars on a pair of glasses if I can't see what they look like. As soon as I did she yelled at me to keep my mask on, I said I can't see what I'm looking at. She told me I could take them outside and look at them...take unpaid merchandise outside to look at?? Doesn't seem very professional or a good idea at all. I get the whole covid thing, but I was 6 ft away and I just wanted to look at the glasses before i spent a lot of money on them, especially since my husband and I just dropped a lot of money there for glasses and appointments. If we can't try on things maybe it shouldn't be open....that's the whole point of buying glasses so we can try them on. Just think they can be a little nicer there to...

I asked her several times during the exam for my prescription. I’ve had several prescriptions over the past year and wanted to compare what she found to the previous prescriptions I’ve had. One of the times I asked for the prescription she stopped and asked, “Do you even know what the numbers mean?” When I responded that I did she ignored me.
I wasn’t provided with my prescription until I had paid for my exam. At that time I noticed it was the same as one of the ones that I had in the previous year that made my eyes blurry. I was told I wasn’t able to talk to the doctor because she was busy. Now I am left with a worthless prescription. Setting the 60 dollars I paid for this exam on fire would have been a better way to use the money...
