Edit: Visited again recently during the afternoon. It's gotten worse. Go to TJ Maxx or any other department store nearby instead. This Burlington should be your last resort only!! A thrift store is better organized than this place.

I don't know if it was just because it was the end of the day, but literally half of all the clothing was just mixed in with each other. I know people will just put the clothes they don't want to buy back onto random ends of the racks, but this was SO much worse than just that. Shoes in the size 6 aisle were just random sizes. Women's clothes were in the men's clothes. Several aisles and sections of aisles were just random clothing with random sizes, like the workers didn't bother sorting the clothes, just putting them on the racks. I've been to this Burlington a handful of times at different times of day, and it has never been this disorganized.

I get that Burlington is a large store. But the managers need to do better about ensuring that the floor workers are actually sorting the clothes into their designated areas instead of just making sure that there's no clothes...

I love this store so much and I always come here. They have the cutest sets for my baby. But the young lady that rang me up for some reason, assumed that I was going to pay cash but I had my card to pay. (It already took her extremely long to ring up my items.) I was thinking maybe it’s her first day so I waited patiently, and since she closed my tab as “cash” she said she had to wait for a manager. The manager took quite some time to assist, and then told the cashier that she would have to ring my items up AGAIN, or she could enter “a number in” and I could pay. I had $192 worth of items that I was trying to buy for my babies, one of which is teething and was fussing. Still, I didn’t mind waiting but I left because the cashier was getting frustrated with me because SHE messed up. I told her I can come shop another day cause I don’t wanna hold up the line and everyone was staring at me. It was taking longer to pay than it did to shop. On the other hand, shout out to the cashier from Orlando, she’s very sweet. I wish I could have gotten called to her line. Not sure if I will be retuning to this location...

One star review. This Burlington has the worst line for checkout, there is barely any cashiers every single time I come here. They have very low maintenance. They do have enough employees, they just choose to send their employees to organize instead of attending their customers. They have the worst customer service. Sadly I still have to go here because it's the closest one in my area.

Update: Jun. 4, 2025 Zero improvement. Still two cashiers, one cashiers exits and another one replaces them only TWO. The line goes all the way to the back. People complain in the line because it's ridiculous 🙄 how is there more workers "cleaning and organizing" rather than working at the checkout. The manager doesn't do anything about it, doesn't call in extra workers so they can come help. This area has a lot of customers so they should know better than to have 2 people especially if this happens almost everyday. Last time the line was all the way to the back of the store which made zero sense again to have 2 cashiers. Otherwise customers will leave and Burlington will...

The line is wrapped around all the way back to the men’s section and only two registers are open. There are other employees on the floor but no one is coming up front to help. The line looks like we’re waiting at an amusement park. RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the store is trashed. This location is in complete disarray. Looks like a cyclone hit it. The manager should be ashamed. Horrible shopping experience after working and driving through mad traffic to get here. I feel bad for the employees. Sure the company wants to keep it short staffed to save money. And during the holiday season no less. Definitely not abt quality of experience here. Shop elsewhere because at this place you’ll be digging through mountains like you’re at a thrift store and waiting in a long line like it’s to get vaccinated for the swine flu. Disturbing

Omg this place gets worse every time. Last time I was here we waited on line 1:16 minutes, there was only 2 cashiers and the manager behind the counter but only the cashiers were working the female manager were on her phone a the time. I guess tik tok is more important than her costumers. Today 3 cashiers but it didn’t made any difference still waited about an hour this time I didn’t saw the manager however. I hawk the old lady security for her help. All I needed was to hand me an item that was out of my reach and it was next to her. She said Sir. You have to get it yourself and walked away. I don’t know if this is a regular practice for Burlington, but definitely need to be addressed. As far as I concerned I’m not returning. I can just go next door to TJ Max
