I recently visited this location for a new snowboard helmet and goggles, and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took the time to understand my needs, helping me find the perfect fit for both my helmet and goggles.

We decided to rent some ski's from here because we were staying at the best western down the street and they recommended this place. We were very disappointed by our overall experience. On monday morning, we got here right at opening so that we could get an early start to the day. They rent out almost everything you need except for helmets, we needed helmets, but ended up getting them from the ski resort since we were headed there anyway. Since we were already here, we decided to rent some ski's and poles. When we went up to the rental counter, we were (barely) greeted by a rude young blonde girl who had been sitting on the floor behind the counter... She was short and rude to us the entire time and just gave me a very unpleasant feeling. She looked like she hated every second of being there and it really made us mad. (I'm a manager of a store and if my employees acted like that I would not be happy). On top of that, they are pretty expensive. Don't waste your money with the poor customer service and...

Our first time to sugar mt. We found that reviews for renting from the resort were bad. This location is right at the bottom of the mountain and easy to get to. Staff was great! We were able to get our lift tickets the night before then come right to Alpine Ski center to get our equipment for the next day. My son (9yrs) keeps growing super fast so I choose to rent from alpine. For $10 he was set for the whole day! The girl that set up us for the rentals explained everything. It was fast. After filling out the paperwork we were sent into a room to get 'fitted'. The guys in there were great. They took time to explain to my son how to get in and out of his skis. Everyone was great and patient. Returning equipment was so fast and easy. Walk in tell them your name they check out the equipment return and off you go. I would definitely use them again. Thank you for making our skiing trip less stressful. Not to mention prices were totally affordable...
