WOW, what an awful experience at Target on Feedwire in Sugarcreek Ohio tonight. I live about 35-40 minutes away from my nearest Target so I was super excited to learn they were open until 10pm after working late at my own job. Picked up my daughter from the sitter and headed there to pick up some items before we leave for vacation on Wednesday. And they had milk for my 13 month old daughter, no additional trip to a grocery store, WRONG! Apparently, if you are checking out later than 930pm the new policy is that you have to use self checkout. What an awful policy! I had a crying baby trying to get out of her seat and the associates are saying you need to use self checkout. I said really? I have a large order $300 at least, can you not open a register, all of this will not even fit in the self checkout. The response, "no" this is our new policy! No one willing to help me I told the associate she could all my items back! I couldn't check myself and watch my baby! Literally not one associate willing to help! VERY poor customer service if you ask me! I will definitely not be back! And I will tell everyone about my experience. Target used to be one of my favorite places to shop, not anymore! I know other stores have similar policies but if you have a large order they open a register! Target is not set up to have self checkout for large orders. They need to rethink this...
Read moreTerrible experience would give negative stars if it were an option, attempted to purchase a bike while at another location. The Target associate from the first location called this Target and spoke with David in Electronics and Sporting Goods. David stated the only bike left was assembled and wanted to make sure we had a vehicle that would be able to transport a fully assembled bike. The problem is that David was making the whole thing up and just lied about seeing the bike. So after a 30 min drive to this Sugarcreek store and some more standing around and waiting while Kathy the front end manager tried to figure out what happened, we find out there was never a bike. At first she tried to say it was a "miscommunication", however, a miscommunication would not involve saying the only remaining bike was fully assembled and I will put your name on it and it will be up front when you arrive. We were eventually offered a weak apology but was not given any indication this situation would ever be dealt with appropriately. At the very least this manager could have brought David to the front to explain why he felt the need to lie and waste my time and money. Final thoughts, bad leadership leads to employee's sub-par...
Read moreI just left the target on feedwire and I must say that the team members manning the order pick up/ customer service desk are rock stars. I'm sorry I didn't get your names.
While one associate (stationed on drive up orders) was helping me, her colleague (with the gorgeous purple hair) was approached aggressively by two women upset that target, a Corporation, had a pride display. Apparently her children will be indoctrinated by seeing some rainbow tutus and it goes against the constitution, because somehow Ohio is a strictly Christian state and America is as well, and i dont know, she thinks christians cant be queer? Or like rainbows? What do i know. She was adament that she knew the constitution. And that she would personally call Mike dewine about it.
This associate handled her self and the situation so well in the face of bigotry. They represented the company and themselves beautifully. And apologized to me profusely for the women roping me into their grievances. They deserve a raise. I know a corporation won't do that, so hopefully you at least give them...
