Horrible allocation day system. We showed up just before 8:30 and signed up like required. Then after the cut off we picked our number which was 38 out of just over 50 people waiting. That is all fine and we waited in the heat for 2 hours to get our turn. Problem was by that point he just opened the door and said everyone left, everyone after number 35, could come in and it was a free for all. Some guy pulled up on his bike, parked in front of the store and 2 minutes later he walked in and was in front of all of us and they let him go before everyone who waited for 2 or more hours in the heat. Numbers 40 and 49 went in front of us too knowing they were supposed to go behind us. I asked is we were still going by number and no answer. So their way of thanking us for earning all those points and waiting over 2 hours was to make it a free for all which made us angry for putting in all that effort. They’re close to us so at some point we’ll end up there again but will avoid spending our money there when we can. And if anyone wants to go to their allocation days, if you’re not in the top 20 don’t bother waiting because after that there will be no system and you’ll waste all that time on your day off just to have everyone that shows up randomly get to go in front of you because the store just stopped caring at some point about...
Read moreFive star store hands down. Very few stores in the area deserve a five star rating and this is one of the big dogs! Pricing is a huge thing they’re always right on for all their offerings, but my main love is bourbon!
If you join their facebook group you can see when new really cool bottles hit the shelves, and can even order online instantly to make sure you secure a bottle before you get to the store.
There’s just a great bourbon community and even tequila attached to this store which is what really makes or breaks a store. I encourage anyone who hasn’t given them a chance to come on by and be apart of the community.
Lastly, allocated bourbon offerings… they use a points system which I know some might not enjoy but I’ve got to say it just works! You’re likely to get enough points to buy something special throughout the year easily. Plus they do several allocation days during the year with the big heavy hitters that I almost never see available at any other stores in the area bc it either all goes to stupid restaurants or owners keep it for themselves… I’m talking BTAC, Pappy, Weller, michters and other great potato offerings that would make your grandpappy proud!
This place cares about its customers and cares about the bourbon community, please give them a shot and I’m sure you...
Read moreCreekville Spirits, a local liquor store that truly stands out from the rest. As a bourbon enthusiast and admin of a bourbon-focused group, I've had the pleasure of exploring various liquor stores around town, and Creekville Spirits has provided a great selection like the best of them. The selection of bourbons at Creekville Spirits is impressive, with a wide range of top-shelf bottles that cater to both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike. Their tequila selection is equally impressive, with a variety of premium brands and a focus on additive frees that will satisfy any tequila enthusiast. Their prices might be slightly above larger stores or stores further away, it's easy to understand why given the store's location and lack of other options nearby. What's truly remarkable about Creekville Spirits is their commitment to exceptional customer service and a range of store's picks are generally great. I'm happy to recommend to anyone looking for a great shopping experience, a great selection and great convenience for...
