I visited my neighborhood Starbucks on Friday to pick up a Chamomile tea I first fell in love with during a recent trip to DC. I placed a mobile order for pickup, which was ready when I arrived.
The tea cup didn’t have a sleeve, which made it difficult to carry initially. Thankfully, an employee kindly grabbed one from the back when I asked. I couldn’t help but wonder—why wasn’t the sleeve already on the cup, especially for a hot tea that had been sitting in the pickup area?
The tea itself was slightly cooler than expected, but still had the flavor I enjoy. The store was clean, but the drive-thru line was incredibly long, so I’m glad I chose the walk-in option.

Today I went inside and ordered drinks and was really disappointed by the customer service I received. The older lady who took my order was very rude, not only to me, but also to her fellow employees. She interrupted me in the middle of my order to tell a coworker how to wash counters. Then, after I has scanned my app (I didn’t have the full amount on my app), I went to insert my debit card- KNOWING starbucks readers take a moment- she instead inserts it for me by taking it from my hand. This experience made the hype for this particular starbucks very disappointing and I’ll be sure to go to other locations nearby...
Read moreUpdating my review from a 2 star to a 1 star, ofte. when i do mobile orders I get part of my order and then in turn I have to wait for the rest of order which they forgot to make. sent my daughter in for a mobile order I placed at 7:27 for 3 items two of them are premade and a cappuccino, arrived at 7:45 they forgot to make a TALL cappuccino here it is 8:04 and we are leaving out... Mobile orders should be a priority especially if its IN-STORE pick up meaning, I cannot wait through the drive through and I sent my order to you in advance. 3 items and it took 30 mins to get.. I blame management and leadership for this...
