I have been a customer since the Cane Bay opening and yesterday I came in to ask for my normal smoothie. I asked and paid for it to have the regular milk substituted with oat milk and boy was I surprised when this did not happen. Both myself and my grandson were ill all night. I called the next day (today) and spoke to Lilla who advised me that I was not able to get a refund as this is the store policy - if you do not bring the shake back. How can you when the toilet became your best friend because of an employee mistake. I asked for a manager and she suggested that I call the district manager and then stated that she could not give me her number or email and that this person was out sick and I needed to understand she may not be able to call me until she recovered. No one at this location cared enough to even say sorry for the mistake - or bring the receipt back in for us to remake it. Just simply - there is nothing we can do. This is NOT acceptable and the policy needs to change. How can I bring a drink back after hours? How does this location account for its lack of concern and attention to detail? So if a child says they have a peanut allergy and you use the peanut scooper and the kids dies - then what - they must bring the dead child and the smoothie back for evidence? I Called before I arrived and asked to place my order over the phone because I know they are about to close and from the looks of things they start to clean up way before closing time. The fist time they made my order I arrived 10 till closing time and after I briefly explained that I was not from this area. Now this time around after know my last experience I called and explained I was not too far and they said if I arrived before 9 they would still make my order but when I arrived all I was told was that they were sorry but that they already cleaned up. After apologizing several times to me I just gave up. Oh and it was 3 min till 9pm but this is the reason I called before making my way to this location!!! If I would have been told I would no be served I would have not spent 10 more min driving wasting time and gas just to have to drive back empty handed. Guy please work on your communication and fallow through with what you say you are going to do and also is you dont take take orders 10 minutes before 9 then you should specify this somewhere on the website on the front door or when someone calls!!! Read more6/11/21 . Went to the drive thru with 10 mins remaining before close time. While they sit in there talking and cleaning up There is 1! Car in front of me. They wait till 9:58-9:59 to even acknowledge the car infront of me. Then the guy with long hair working proceeds to go sit down in the Seat in the lobby Instead of coming outside and letting me know they werent taking anymore orders, when i pullup to the speaker they tell me that they are closed when theyve seen me waiting behind the car they have YET to even serve. So i ask “yall seen me behind him and yall wait until i pullup to say yall closed” instead of politely stating why . White girl blonde hair She goes “ Yep” like if she already made her mind up she wasnt taking my order.
