This ceramics painting place has a very wide selection of pottery to choose from. However, they are extremely controlling compared to many other pottery places I have been to. An associate (who is super busy and takes a while to get to you) has to get the pottery for you after you fill out the form. You have to ask an associate for the writing bottles. They got annoyed at me for rinsing out and refilling my bowl of water. They also wrote on the back of my ceramics with numbers (identifying the pieces) without asking me first. Those numbers were permanent. I had signed the back nicely with a writing bottle, and they could have used that signature to ID the pieces like many other paint-your-own pottery places I have been to will do. Read moreI wouldn’t go back. I brought in my three young nieces. I had never done this before and I got very little guidance. When I had a question several times I had to go to the back of the shop to try and find someone to help. The sitting fee plus the pottery was an expensive outing. Then I was told she couldn’t give me credit over the phone I would have to come to the shop, and she was the only one that could give me credit, so I had to come when she was there. Parking was difficult , I had a hard time getting a spot just to come back for the refund. It was processed and there wasn’t so much as an apology for my...
Read moreI brought my two daughters here for a fun little experience. The women in the store were kind and polite and helpful. However when I went to pay I had two gift cards and the guy who was at the register couldn’t be further from hospitable in any way. This guy asked me repeatedly to leave a tip on the card, I said I did then said put your card in for a charge of $55 I said what is that!?! He took the gift cards LITERALLY threw them down and stormed off. The kind female worker stepped up to assist. I felt like walking out, how utterly rude this guy was. I said that’s so disrespectful, what is this random $$55 he’s charging me?? She voided the transaction and started all over but honestly a tip for that male worker- don’t work in customer facing roles if you can’t...
