Sweet Nothings — Local services in Summit

I usually go to Bromilow’s, Hanna Krause, or Genevieve’s for good quality homemade chocolate but decided to check this place out near Easter, due to the many great reviews. I wasn’t really impressed, to be honest. Very crowded with people idly chit-chatting with the staff during a very busy time, making everyone preoccupied to the point where they didn’t offer help and I didn’t want to impose on a conversation, so I ultimately walked out empty handed. But while I was looking around, I noticed it’s very festive but there was not enough unique, homemade items here. Easter is a huge “chocolate” holiday, so I was surprised by that. Quite a bit of the stuff was either made elsewhere, or mass-produced “kiddy” candies like Nerds, Swedish Fish, etc. Maybe they could’ve pointed me in the right direction if I had the chance. A wonderful store with a wonderful selection of candy and gift items! There's a whole wall of just "fun" candy (razzles, big league chew, etc) and across the way, there's cases of decadent truffles, several kinds of chocolate covered pretzels (toffee and snickers are my favs!) and pretty much any type of chocolate you would like. I've purchased some great and unique gifts - and the best part - you can make your own custom gifts with the fun baskets, etc. and add what you'd like and they will put it together with cello and beautiful ribbon. I cannot believe that my first visit to sweet nothings took me so long. The whole store is a veritable smorgasbord of deliciousness.

It’s chocolate heaven, absolutely nothing short of chocolate heaven. When you find a store like this you have to shout it from the rooftops!!!

I would say that the dark chocolate orange truffles are amazing, but if I did that y’all would eat them all.. so keep your hands off!!!
