Matt's Multimedia — Local services in Sun City

I will not be recommending or using this company in the near future. Matt was hired to install anti-virus on 2 of my laptops. Nothing else. $258.00. INVOICE! Anti-Virus Costs $60.00 at most for up to 5 computers. The rest is billed hourly.Matt said one of my computers needed updates never called to tell me. I was expecting an hour of his time and paying for the software only. I NEVER got a call with a quote. I did call Matt twice and he agreed to send a check or rebate but it's been a few weeks and I highly doubt I will see it. My recommendation if you use this company get an estimate first. I've been using Matt & his services for about 3 years now and I am quite pleased. Personally, I choose to have him come to my home because I don't wish to unhook everything and lug my PC to his shop. I am aware of the hourly rate which is in line with most other tech support operations. I typically write/keep all my notes/problems in Word. Once I have enough issues to warrant his visit, I format my notes in order of importance, arrange an appointment and give him my sheet to work from. I am an old woman. 85 years old. Still using a laptop. Have had some problems with it and a friend recommended Matt. He said he was a "good guy and honest". I have had him twice now.
