Like many of the other comprehensive reviews entailed here, this is by far one of the best locally- owned and operated Firearm and Supply stores in the entire state. Tony, his family, and the rest of the Top Pack crew are awesome friends!
The store isn't huge, but man oh man do they have a seriously impressive and vast inventory of wide-ranging products stocked in there-- you need that Geissele trigger group or that Trijicon optic or those BCM grips? They've got it, or they can order what you need express (of course i'll keep the banter with the running joke about getting metal FAL mags in- hah!). They also do all FFL services and Firearm transfers, and have a slick little kiosk for the Suppressor purchasing and licensing system with the AFT.
They also tailor uniforms either in house or with a trusted associate (i've never had an issue with anything under excellent quality with that) and do custom fitting of duty gear as needed. They also sell private owner firearms on consignment so long as it's a bona-fide complete and serialized platform-- I've seen an original limited XM-8 prototype rifle in there before, which is amazing. They get some serious gems in apart from the fantastic inventory of new Firearms they carry, and they always have ammo at mostly reasonable prices which is always a great thing.
They are extremely knowledgeable and are always helpful for the professional or newcomer to the gun-owner/ Firearm community which shows a lot about their professionalism (while treating you like a friend and keeping the environment relaxed) and integrity, they're also a very active outfit with local support organizations and charity events-- talk about being a true blue local staple.
Keep up the great...
Read moreIf sexism was a store front this would be it. A woman can walk into this shop but you'd never know. Or, at least the workers here wouldn't. She'll walk up to a counter invisible. But a man walks in the doors and is greeted with, "Hey man, how's it going today? " He walks to the counter to a firm handshake and a, "Looking for anything in particular? What can we help you with? " While the woman still stands there, nonexistent to eyes that clearly see her but refuse to acknowledge her presence. I spent my time in military service, in logistics, ordering the parts, servicing, maintaining, disassembling, reassembling, cleaning, checking out and in the very same equipment they provide. I know it like the back of my hand. Hell, let's be honest, I know it better. But in this store, as a woman, I'm a ghost. And up until the other day I hoped mine was a solitary incident. Until I was talking to a group of men who have frequented this location and I said I refuse to return. And they said, "Why? The blatant sexism?" And there it was. Others see it too. Maybe no one says it out loud but in whispers, in groups, everyone knows. And now I've seen it first hand. This place is a pitiful excuse for "self defense" when half the population that needs defense isn't even seen walking in the doors. If you genuinely don't care, and you don't, or at least those working there don't, close down. You care more about your money than your mission. And I plan on making sure I use my voice so that everyone...
Read moreI went to Top Pack 07/08/2025 in search of a high-vis short sleeve shirt w/ black collar. Once found, get patches sewn on the sleeves and ready to wear out the door. I needed the shirt by a specific date in July for our Fair attire. The young lady I had helping me found said shirt and started sewing. Once she recognized the shirt had dark blue collar she informed me and asked if that would suffice. I said, no and she immediately started searching far and wide for another option. She went as far as asking if the shirt she found on Amazon would work. She said the shirt could be received in 2 days and I could bring back to get patches sewn on then. We compared the shirt to the ones I already had on back order and agreed to go the Amazon shirt direction. I would like to commend the attention to detail and the great customer service she displayed. I do not remember her name but she was a younger blonde-haired lady wearing tan shorts, a white shirt, I think, and a ball cap. I believe she had pointy pink painted nails and a dazzling engagement/wedding ring as well. I appreciate her amazing customer service shills and attention to detail and her attention to getting me to a solution that fits my needs, even though it didn’t lead to the sale of a shirt/s from their...
