Very poor customer service. When you call, you have to listen to long ads, then answer a lot of questions to a robot before directing your call. Usually that ends in getting disconnected before a person answers. They installed my system by draping the cable across the side of the house, cutting a hole in my window screen and putting the wiring thru the window. Then strung it across the room to the wall. I had to move furniture to put it out of sight. Now the window wont shut properly. I have wind, dust, dirt and noise coming thru the crack constantly. I also cant use the security system as there is no way to seal that window, and the system reads it as an intrusion. Their prices arent any better than anyone else, they force you into autodraft for payments, and wont answer the phone unless you want to buy something. Without touching the remote, the tv often switches itself to the dvr or on demand and I have had to reboot the system more than once to get back to live tv. If you want to record something, and set it up in advance, it is going to switch the tv to that channel when the recording starts and you have to cancel the recording to view anything else, then restart it. Read moreHorrible place! I would never recommend this dish network. They are highly understaffed and don't care to understand or solve problems. Their staff is unable to complete correct documentation and are unable to grasp the concept of any situation. They overcharge and have no concept of follow through. Again I repeat this is a horrible horrible company. They make many mistakes and even with their documentation they will not back there mistakes even if or how regretful they seem to act. They really should close down and try something different. Like working a department store. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. If I could I wouldn't even have given them the one star. They destroyed my credit because of their incompetence. I paid them over 9 months of service when I did not even have my equipment connected. They offered me a pause and still charged me full price for 4 months. Due to the fact that there documentation was horrible and phone call after phone call, not one of their employees were intelligent enough to get it right. Incompetence is a horrible thing. Read moreSince I can't find anywhere to leave a review I will leave it here. DISH IS THE WORST. Service sucks and I've only had it for two months. Every time I turn around the satellite and hopper goes out. I'm so sick of running from room to room resetting, unplugging and plugging back in the boxes. And then still not getting service. I've reset my wifi thinking that would help. Replaced batteries in the remotes. I have to call to get a technician out here just to get the thing up and running I'm sick of it and I regret ever getting dish. I might just take the almost $500 hit and get rid of it!!!!
