This place is way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a matcha latte and it was not worth the money. It tasted like milk with a bit of matcha added to it. You can see from my picture that it also did not look like a normal matcha latte. I wish I had taken my money to the Starbucks nearby. They also do not have a good sign out front. You would think that with how much they charge for drinks that they would be able to afford a decent sign. It does not have coffee shop vibes at all. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable with no back support. It's basically like sitting on a block of wood. The employees are not very friendly and take a long time to make the drinks. Haven't tried the food so I can't speak to that. Overall, I have been consistently disappointed here and won't be back. If I am going to pay for overpriced drinks, I will go to Starbucks where at least I know they will taste good. Update: lol apparently they can’t take constructive criticism either. I love small businesses. But I won’t lie and say this place was good just because it’s a small business. Work hard and provide good services if you want a 5 star review. It’s so obvious from the picture I posted that my matcha latte was not made right. To anyone reading this, go just a few minutes down Collins road to Hope Coffee! It’s a local, community run coffee shop whose proceeds benefit underserved people and communities. Give them your money! You’ll actually get good drinks served by kind people. Also a great restaurant next door to it called Settlers Table. And Tino’s is another amazing restaurant in Sunnyvale that is family run. Just pointing this out since the owner of this place seems to think I’m anti-small businesses🤡Don't be bitter, be better💕

Nope. Strangest coffee shop experience ever. Zero coffee shop vibe - I felt like we were in a hospital. I could deal with that. What I couldn't deal with was placing our order on the tablet. It took 16 minutes to figure it out and get our order correct, and that was WITH help from the very nice barista. $17 for one small and one medium coffee??? If I have to do all the work, you would think the prices would be less. I'm very tech-savvy, but the menu options are confusing and do not make sense. It would have been SO much faster if someone had been taking our order. Cloud options? Whips? It's one thing to find your niche and be different. It's an entirely other animal when you've gone so far outside the box, people have no idea what you're talking about. Oh, and they're cashless - hard pass. This would be well-suited on a college campus, not the local neighborhood where people just want to enjoy a nice coffee. Love supporting local businesses, but we won't be back.

Okay. I’ve been to this local coffeeshop about 5-6 times now, and it hits every time. First of all, Sarah, one of the workers, is the kindest lady i’ve ever met, and I look forward to talking with her. The vibe is very minimalist and it is very easy to get work done here. Everything is made fresh and they are such hard workers and kind-hearted people. My favorite drink is the dirty chai! not too sweet, just the perfect amount. The boba waffle is divine and sarah is to thank! You won’t regret coming to this quaint coffeeshop☕️

Standing Ovations deserves their own standing ovation.

Nestled within the heart of our community, Standing Ovation is not just a coffee haven; it's a whole experience. As a staunch advocate of supporting local businesses, stumbling upon this charming coffee shop felt like discovering a well-kept secret that I couldn't wait to share.

From the moment you step through the door, the warm and inviting atmosphere surrounds you. The intimate setting exudes a sense of authenticity, a stark contrast to the cookie-cutter chains that dominate the coffee scene. What sets Standing Ovation apart is not just its size but the palpable passion that radiates from the owners, who personally welcome each guest with genuine smiles and a level of customer service that's nothing short of extraordinary.

The devotion to the local arts community is evident in every nook and cranny. The shop are adorned with many creations, including custom cards, candles, and other handmade items crafted by talented local artists. This transforms the space into a more than just a coffee shop. Witnessing a small business not only prosper but also actively contribute to the the prosperity of other local small businesses is truly uplifting.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the coffee. As a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, I can confidently declare that Standing Ovation has put a lot of thought into the sourcing of their coffee. The beans are sourced with care, resulting in a cup that is both robust and smooth, awakening the senses with every sip. It's a testament to the owners' commitment to quality, a commitment that elevates the entire coffee-drinking experience.

But the delights don't stop there. One bite into their mochi donuts, and you're transported to a realm of indulgence. These chewy, delectable treats are a fusion of tradition and innovation, a delightful departure from the mundane pastries offered elsewhere. Pairing these delights with a cup of their real matcha or one of their refreshing fruit teas completes the culinary journey, leaving you with a taste sensation that lingers long after the last sip.

Beyond the exceptional coffee and treats, what truly makes Standing Ovation shine is the sense of community it fosters. The owners' kindness and dedication to creating a welcoming space for everyone make it more than just a coffee shop; it's a hub for connection and camaraderie.

In a world dominated by corporate giants, Standing Ovation stands as a testament to the power of small businesses that prioritize quality, community, and genuine hospitality. It's not just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a destination that leaves you with a sense of belonging and the sweet aftertaste of a well-brewed dream. If you haven't discovered this hidden gem yet, do yourself a favor and make Standing Ovation your next stop – you won't be...

So happy that we finally have a decent coffee shop in the area that also has awesome matcha drinks and great food options. It’s always a gamble to try a new coffee shop but this one was worth it. It’s changed so much since it first opened, made a lot of improvements, added so much decor and new menu items.

A lot of people seem to have a problem with the ordering kiosk but I like it, because it allows me to take my time and add all my customizations stress free, and it also allows them to be more efficient with their time and not having to stop every 5 seconds to take someone’s order. If you have any questions, they are more than happy to assist you. Just ask.

For the most part, it’s one person making the drinks, and one making the food, so it will take some time during peak times, but I plan accordingly because I’d rather have them take their time and make a wonderful drink.

I really like the offerings and flavor profile they have. I freaking love matcha and am just ELATED that I don’t have to drive to Dallas for a matcha fix anymore. A lot of coffee shops offer it because it’s popular but most don’t take the time to make it right, or use low grade matcha and just disguise the resulting bitter flavor with a boatload of sugar and milk (Especiallyyyy Starbucks). So relieved that Standing Ovation doesn’t fall in this category and consistently has good quality. Their coffee drinks are good too.

Highly recommend. No pictures because I finish...
