Edit! To the liar who responded below i called, emailed, NUMEROUS TIMES and NONE of your representatives have called me back. You don't take action or any concerns seriously. My son walked out yesterday after being there 5 hours and NEVER GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR! Your own employee told me this is the most dysfunctional, unorganized hospital they have been employed at and for me to avoid It if I can. What an embarrassment! If I could get ZERO stars I would. I will also NEVER recommend this place to anyone . Plus you just lost my business ever again. I went into the ER at 12:30 am for shortness of breathe chest pains. They saw me in triage and kept my cuff on because she said they will need to continue to monitor my blood pressure because my blood pressure was very high. Dr Thibodeaux was the attending Dr. who came in and asked what my chief complaint was and I told him and gave him a run down history of my health. He turned around and asked me what did I want him to do about it? Seriously? Idk, umm, in case you don't know, I'm not a doctor If I was, I wouldn't be here asking you, how you can help me now wouldn't i? Had he reviewed my paperwork before entering the room rather than coming in empty handed he would have known why i was there. He would have known my blood pressure was high and that triage left my cuff on so he can hook me up and continue to monitor my heart. I also had congestion and thought maybe i had pneumonia because my chest and back was hurting. So I said, "idk maybe do a chest xray," although i feel he should have known protocol when having a 45 year old patient with chest pains and shortness of breath he should have done an egk stat!!! Not being able to breathe was affecting my mental health as well and I told him that too. My anxiety and depression was through the roof! I was an unstable patient that very moment. He ignored all my pleas for help as well as protocols, and responded to me saying that an xray would be "unnecessary radiation." He already made me feel concerned when he asked me what I wanted him to do making me think he doesn't know what he's doing. Also where is the LACK OF EMPATHY OR COMPASSION when you have a patient that thinks their dying is being treated like dirt? How are you gonna tell me it's unnecessary radiation? Do you have a miracle doctor with xray vision working there?
He walked out of the room real pissy like. He never mentioned what he was going to do next and left me and my husband sitting there questioning what was going on. So since he walked and left I walked out and left too! I refuse to have a doctor with lack of compassion and respect for their patients touch me or treat me. He not once touched me, listened to my heart, lungs nothing anyway. I got home at about 1:30 am and called Mirka, the ER supervisor and she told me she would direct my complaint to the Director of the ER Jeremy Cidd and that he would call me back the following Monday. He never did. I called back and he told me he would direct this to the Administrator of the ER. Here it's almost a month later not one person has EVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL! NOW, I've received 2 ER bills FOR WHAT????????? SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED!!! He did nothing but make me feel like my life is worthless. I received nothing but unethical treatment and here I'm being charged. Once I got in to see my own pcp and told her what happened she was appalled and disappointed. She put me on medication for my heart and said I could have had a heart attack. I will be filing a complaint with patient relations as well as the board of medical directors on Dr. Thibodeaux for unethical treatment. I will also be disputing charges for services that were not rendered. I'm still waiting for a supervisor or someone who actually does their job and really cares for some help. So far, I've been shown nothing but lack of compassion all the way around from the doctor down to the supervisors. I am also seeing that this is very common practice at this place by reading all the reviews with similar complaints. Ya'll need to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an accident back in 10/08/2017 my right ear got slashed or cut when I fell in the bathroom and as consequence I had to go to the Baylor at Sunnyvale ER. I was attended by a NP Randy Gentry and some other nurse. At first the nurse inspected my right ear and did an assessment, just like any other nurse could do. You are going to need stitches, she said.
Later, the NP Randy Gentry came in to the ER room and did his own inspection and ask me to laid down on the medical bed right next where I was sitting on a chair.
When I saw the NP Randy Gentry my inner self, somehow warning me about this particular NP Randy Gentry, I did not pay attention to that warning and let the NP do what he supposed to do. He went back to his office and brought in some items with him.
My right arm was on the edge of the medical bed and when the NP Randy Gentry came back into the ER, he approach me like a charging bull while I was positioned on my back on the medical bed.
THE NP RANDY GENTRY RUB HIS PENIS against my right forearm and I immediately move my right arm across my chest. I did not think otherwise because, I was in pain and with a lot of distress. Later on, I got to think about it and thought about contacting the Sunnyvale PD, to ask for advice about how to proceed with this problem.
The Sunnyvale PD / Dallas Sheriff Department gave me a file number to follow through if I decide to file charges, which I did. Later on, I contacted the Baylor Hospital at Sunnyvale and requested to speak with someone to let them know of was had happen to me while at the hospital. I spoke to with the Director of the ER department in a private setting. The Director did not acknowledge any wrong doing; much less apologize for such awful experience.
The hospital promise to get back in touch with me, I did not hear from them for days. All I wanted to know was if Baylor Hospital was willing to investigate this matter and find out why this NP did what he did to me.
Was this NP Randy Gentry looking for other kind of action, because I was not interested in nothing else; other than taking care of my problem.
After several days I contacted Baylor Hospital because The Dallas Sheriff Department kept calling me about what was going on with my complaint. I thought that the Sheriff Department was going to be of help. I agreed to come to their office in downtown Dallas, after a brief interview with a sheriff police officer and explain it what had happen to me, the officer discard or dismiss my complaint outright. The officer said to me that there was no penetration thatās why my complaint was not valid. What a waste of time.
Example: When an adult exposes himself to a minor, the incident is reported as indecent exposure to a minor. Then the police department work tireless to find the person that was reported by the minor, but not so when an adult makes a grievance toward other adult. See the difference here.
My point here is that the NP Randy Gentry may be working (lurking) on your child, daughter, your wife or even your own mother next time you need to medical help at this hospital and he may do the very same move he did on me and claim that he was doing his job.
Question is, how do you like someone rub his penis on your forearm?
I made a mistake when I called the Sheriff department they were of not help and the hospital did the same. Here I am waiting for the hospital to apologize; they dismiss my complaint as well. So next time you go to Baylor Hospital in Sunnyvale, TX pay special attention who is your nurse practitioner or doctor that may be helping you out with your medical problem.
If it is NP Randy Gentry, you may get the same kind of treatment I got from this individual. BEWARE OF THIS GUY. AKA: nurse...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe took our 2 year old daughter to the Baylor Sunnyvale ER and it has been a nightmare. She hurt herself at 4:30pm on a Friday and the closest hospital was Baylor Sunnyvale. I should have sat in traffic for 1+ hour to take her to Children's, but she was screaming/crying and she couldn't move her arm so I thought Baylor would be a better idea. When we got a "room" in the ER it was called "Fast Track," yet the only thing fast was all the staff walking in and out getting to other patients. It was more of an enclosed hallway with uncomfortable seats, there may have been a TV but it was not on, and two doors which connected the ER to offices, I believe. My husband and I sat there for 5, yes FIVE, hours with no comfortable ER bed to lay our 2 year old in. So we held her for 5 hours while she cried because she was in pain. Then, it was time for x-rays. 2 techs came in with a portable x-ray machine, did not offer us lead vests, and took 4 views with her screaming and both of us getting every bit of the radiation. None of the x-rays showed anything significant, but I really wouldn't know because I never saw any of the images. Then a PA comes in, says it could be "milkmaids elbow," bends it and says that's not the problem. He said he wasn't sure what was wrong, so we were instructed to see a pediatric orthopedic surgeon the following Monday. They splinted her and waited longer to leave. We took her to an ortho surgeon the following Monday...remember, she went all weekend in pain with a splint...and within minutes popped her elbow back and said it was nursemaids, then sent us home. MINUTES. They told us it was very common and said she should not have had to go all weekend in pain. Right after that visit I started calling the ER asking to speak to the charge nurse or the head physician. I literally sat on hold for 30 minutes when I called, but no one would pick up. After I got the first bill, someone from the billing department called to remind me to pay and I explained the situation. After telling the story a couple times, I got in touch with someone in the ER who said they would have the head physician call me. I waited a couple weeks because I was told he had some personal matters he needed to tend to. But still no returned call. I've left 2 more messages and spoke to another billing rep (who called as a reminder again), yet still NOTHING. To top it off, we got another bill from a doctor who we never saw. I understand that the PA was probably just billing under this physician, but if a PA is in question about an injury, then they should defer to their supervising physician. My next move will be speaking to the Texas Department of Health Services, Texas Medical Board, and Texas Department of Insurance if I don't hear from...
