Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

I don't go to Pizza Hut much as tend to go to mom-and-pop pizza places but now and then I get the old-school pizza chain craving. Does it taste the same as childhood Pizza Hut, not the same but it still filled my Pizza Hut craving. Well, I went into the location even though normally I order online as was already nearby. It didn't seem very busy but ordered in-store, not the same deals as online but not surprised and not going to argue about that. Well, the reason for my review I hope I don't ruin his name Norman was extremely professional, but after coming in and waiting for my pizza to be completed. I noticed the people coming in and out and could only notice how professional and courteous Norman greeted everyone coming and out. You could say Pizza Hut or any corporate company enforces the greeting. It was just that his farewell greeting was sincere in wishing everyone a safe and beautiful evening. Worst experience I have ever had at a Pizza Hut. Placed an order online for curbside pickup and got there about two minutes after my scheduled pickup time. I waited in the parking lot for over fifteen minutes after selecting the “I’m Here” option within the app and my confirmation email. They placed the pizza in my backseat like I asked, but by the time I got home the pizza was completely cold, not like it was slightly warm or anything because I understand that while I was driving it would get colder, but it was not warm AT ALL! This is not even including the fact that this was the single least appetizing pizza I have ever been given. Something about the flavor was just wrong and I couldn’t bring myself to even finish the first piece, so my group had to change dinner plans last minute. They delivered my pizza and it was only then they told me they got me the wrong order. Even though the delivery guy told then I have the wrong order, they made him deliver it anyways. Pizza Huts policy is that you have to call them to get your order fixed. To me this is ridiculous and kind of sly to circumvent laziness. My order was 2 meat lovers, 1 Hawaiian, 1 cheese, and 1 pepperoni. They gave me 2 Hawaiian and 1 meat lover, which was the absolute worst case scenario bc I only got the 1 Hawaiian for my one friend who insist that pineapple goes on pizza and I only cared about the meat lovers.
