Walgreens — Local services in Sunset Beach

I called in prescription on Thursday. The insurance company said it was too soon, I'd have to wait till Sunday. Walgreen called every day several times that the order was delayed. Then at 11:34 Sunday they called that a partial order was ready. This is a common medication so all of it should have been ready as they had 3 days to get it in. But I go to pick up the partial and they haven't even started on it. Said I would have to wait. So I go back today, Monday, as they said they had the entire order, which they did. I asked about the phone call, their answer was it didn't say that but I have it recorded. Not even an apology for costing me a wasted trip. As to why only a partial on Sunday, no answer. Their only solution was they could stop calling me that the prescription was ready. Really, that's what they can do for me. I like Walgreen but I may have to change due to...

I dropped an RX to fill for 90 pills. The pharmacy only had 15. I paid for the “partial fill”*like I had in the past many times. Used a coupon service and expected to pick up the balance of my RX. Come to find out I now owed for the balance of the RX! The 90 pills should have been $3.70 and I paid for the initial amount $5 and then $17 for the balance! I paid all that extra because Walgreens didn’t have the stock nor was I told there is a charge that can’t be applied to a coupon once the original amount of pills was billed. Lack of communication and bad policy! I will never partially fill an RX again and will be sure to check first! I could have gone to another pharmacy to have this filled. Beware of...

It has been impossible for a year to get through on the phone to even the store.Let alone the pharmacy. Any questions or information?You actually have to show up in person because they can't get there stuff together. It used to be good before they changed over all the staff. Now the staff is very grumpy, don't fill prescriptions correctly or quickly. I personally am changing all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, because this one is a complete clown show.
