Games Then and Now — Local services in Superior

My usual purchase from them haven’t had any issues but I’ve recently bought mw2 and black ops 1 from them. I also bought an Xbox one from good will. The woman kind of gaslighted me into thinking my console was the problem when it wouldn’t read black ops 1 at all. But mw2 and every other game worked just fine on my Xbox one. She said I would need a disc reader replacement or something and it would cost me $150…. The sad thing is, when I brought the game back to them to exchange it for a different copy which they did have on the shelf, she said there’s nothing wrong with the disc and then she put it in the disc cleaner…. She didn’t even test the game out🤷‍♂️ she handed it back to me and told me if that doesn’t work then it’s my console…once again all the other discs show up on my Xbox one just...

My go to place in the Duluth superior area when it comes to retro anything. I have shopped around and really we only got them and the game store in the mall, but half of the time the stuff in the mall is broken or doesn’t work and over priced. Here I will say, everything I have gotten has worked or has had a warranty. The staff here is also great, the reviews of the woman being rude honestly haven’t happened to me. I always come in, and give them respect, and generally I get the same treatment back.you can find so much things in here from super collectible $500 cartridges all the way down to posters and even certain adapters for controllers. It’s always a good time...

Don't waste your time going here. Honeslty wish i read these comments first as they are spot on, looks like the common theme to why this place sucks.....is the female owner. She was so incredibly rude and short, she yelled at us for putting a box on the wrong spot on her counter. Such poor customer service and we will definitely keep our business with GameStop. The guy was decent but the woman was completely rude, crabby, annoyed and disrespectful. This business will fail because of this woman's horrendous attitude and lack of customer service, patience or common decency to people. She really needs to find a new calling in life. I feel bad for her...
