The Superior Tavern has a lot to offer. Although I wished they had a couple more, there are two dart boards cleverly removed from the masses tucked opposite the main side of the bar that runs east west and is about as long as half a city block. Maybe your not a dart thrower and prefer pool, no problem. And no need to worry, both darts and pool can be played simultaneously without being in each other's way as they are at opposite ends of the bar. Karaoke, yup. Contact them to find out for sure when. Also, indoor bags are available to play as well. Or for the serious, I think they call it corn hole. Only issues I have ever had with this place is the way every bartender forgets, or just plain doesn't care, or really doesn't understand the concept of serving drinks. If people are there, u should be checking to see if they need a drink when they get there whether they stop at the bar or not. And if they ain't coming up to the bar after your initial service, u should check on them once and a while anyways. Some of us expect service when we go to the bar to throw darts or shoot pool or sing or throw bags or whatever. Ur gonna have to come out from behind the bar to get them orders and keep them people happy. Guess what, I love drinking when I grow darts, and I tip almost every drink especially when the bartender comes over to check on me and bring me my drink. But never when I have to stand at a bar unnoticed holding up my game for however long it takes to get the attention of the bartender. But, oh well. No place is perfect. My 1st choice when wanting to go throw some darts is Superior Tavern. So y'all know. Maybe I will see yah there. Oh yeah, drinks are inconsistent depending on the bartender but the prices seem fair but also vary depending on who's working. That's all I got for yah for now, gonna go...
Read moreThe bartenders are super friendly, they have a younger crowd later at night and a middle aged crowd in the afternoon after work ..the slots are older but decent. They do have a 10 dollar minimum from the bar to play slots which I'll never understand the reasoning that bars do this..if anything they should require all the drinkers to spend 10 dollars on the slots because they will never spend nearly as much money as 1 gambler..a gambler will lose 500 in a night on slots.a drinker will generally spend 50 bucks at night on drinks...I don't know my math says maybe you should treat your alot players better then 2nd...
Read moreLots of things to do here, just don't expect a timely drink or good one for that matter. Seems as if the staff here either doesn't care too much for making sure customers have what they need. And when they do, well it is very likely they may not understand a simple drink order like "southern sour". No need to worry about all that though, live comedy on Wednesdays, karaoke, darts, pool, bags, and a whole lot of other fun going on here to take your mind off the fact that you...
