Had I been 40 years younger I would've done the "Pretty Woman" scene when Julia Roberts returns to the store where she was previously ignored and after inquiring if they worked on commission, displayed her many high-end shopping bags and replied "Big Mistake!". I understand that there was only one salesperson for the store and there were two ladies in the dressing rooms obviously loading up on purchases but I did feel slighted when I was ignored and felt I inconvenienced the lady by inquiring about a purchase price while I made my purchase. I'll be back because I believe in patronizing our local stores but let this be a "lesson learned" moment, treat everyone the same, whether they're in Pulitzer or a pullover sweatshirt.
